Arsenal have released a statement in support of their player Bukayo Saka after he was racially abused on social media.
"Once again, we are sad to have to say we condemn the racism of a number of black players," it reads. "This cannot continue and the social media platforms and authorities must act to ensure this disgusting abuse to which our players are subjected on a daily basis stops now.
"We have processes in place internally at Arsenal to ensure our players are supported both emotionally and practically on this issue but sadly there is only so much we can do.
"Our message to Bukayo is: hold your head high, we are so very proud of you and we cannot wait to welcome you back home to Arsenal soon."

BBC Breakfast
Former England captain Alan Shearer has been speaking about the online racial abuse aimed at Marcus Rashford, Jadon Sancho and Bukayo Saka.
"We spoke about this last night before the game kicked-off and there are so many positives for social media but also so many negatives," he added.
"The positives are that it allows a lot of these players to show their personality on the pitch and most of all off the pitch.
"We've seen some of the great work Raheem Sterling and Marcus Rashford have done.
"On the negative side, what on earth do people think about when these guys have been brave enough to go and take a penalty?
"What are people thinking about to go online and abuse these players? What is wrong with some people?
"It's just so, so sad and ridiculous and I hope that the social media companies expose these individuals, absolutely disgusting."
