    Kevin Nolan
Former West Ham captain on BBC Radio 5 Live

Former West Ham United midfielder Kevin Nolan fears the scenes outside Wembley before Sunday's Euro 2020 final will harm England's hopes of hosting the 2030 World Cup.

He said on BBC Radio 5 live's Monday Night Club: "It is scary, then you have these yobs storming people and could have hurt a lot of people and probably have.

"It is very worrying. What it has done is harm our vote to get the 2030 World Cup.

  13. Rashford will bounce back - Solskjaerpublished at 10:20 British Summer Time 13 July 2021

Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer says Marcus Rashford will not be adversely affected by his penalty miss in the Euro 2020 final.

The Norwegian pointed to the fact Rashford scored in United's Europa League final shootout against Villarreal and converted a late spot-kick winner against Paris Saint-Germain two years' ago.

“You know the thing is when you step up to take a penalty, I think you’ve already won,” he told Man Utd's website., external

“You’ve taken on the responsibility and I’m sure many of the players are hoping I don’t want to take a penalty.

“So I think it’s a great character trait to step up and say I will deal with it, [and] the consequences. You might be the hero or the one who misses. That’s football. You learn from it and definitely come back stronger. I’ve not seen many people, at this club anyway, who lay down and say I’ll not take a penalty anymore. I know Marcus is going to put his hand up and say he wants to take one for us.”
