Quote MessageThe away goal rule changes how this game starts. It keeps the tie open and means Midtjylland need to go and win the game.

Quote MessageThat's a real opportunity. Edouard goes for the side-foot and gets it all wrong. A huge chance.

"Midtjylland are well organised. The match will be a good challenge for us.
"We dominated the first leg for the most part. If we work hard as a team there's no reason why we can't do what we did in the first leg.

Celtic sold defender Kristoffer Ajer last week and that might not be the end of the departures, with Odsonne Edouard repeatedly linked with a move and Ryan Christie also in the final year of his contract.
Midtjylland are facing similar upheaval, with Frank Onyeka joining Ajer at Brentford, while fellow midfielder Jens Cajuste looks to be on his way and last season's top scorer Sory Kaba is reportedly refusing to play as he seeks a transfer.
Cajuste and Kaba are missing once more from the home squad this evening.

Quote MessageGoing forward, Celtic can be happy but there is that fear of the backline. It's not ideal, but players have a chance to impress the new manager. They can show they can be relied upon.
Midtjylland v Celtic (1-1, 18:45)
Celtic haven't made the group stages of the Champions League since 2017 under Brendan Rodgers.
In the past three seasons they have fallen to AEK Athens, Cluj and Ferencvaros in qualifying, having been favourites to progress each time.
Can they buck that trend this time round?
"European football is important and a priority for the club," said Ange Postecoglou yesterday. "We are in a transition but you don't discount things just because of the current circumstances."
Midtjylland v Celtic (1-1, 18:45)
Midtjylland did not pose much in the way of attacking threat in Glasgow. A shot from Evander flashed just wide before the Brazilian whizzed a free-kick past Vasilas Barkas - and that was pretty much it.
On their own patch, they will fancy getting at Celtic's inexperienced back four, but that could leave gaps for the visitors to exploit on the counter.

Celtic have played since last week's first leg but Saturday's friendly at home to West Ham did not go to plan.
Sure, players got more valuable minutes but a 6-2 defeat must have stung.
The Hammers forwards tore Celtic to shreds all too easily.
Midtjylland played their second league match of the season on the same day, winning 1-0 at AaB.
