FT: Rangers 3-0 Livingston
Livingston manager David Martindale tells Sky Sports: "It took us 15 minutes to get a grip of their shape. Really disappointed with the first goal because it came from a set-play. Our goalkeeper doesn't have much to do and then he's picking the ball out of the net for the second goal.
"We had to go down to 10 men with a man coming off injured, and as soon as you're 2-0 down at Ibrox with 10 men you're done.
"We had a lot of new boys today and it showed a lot of them where we need to be very quickly. It's a sink or swim moment for them, but I think most of them coped with it very well."
FT: Rangers 3-0 Livingston
Rangers manager Steven Gerrard says goalscorer Ianis Hagi, who went off injured in the first half, is a doubt for Tuesday's Champions League qualifying tie with Malmo.
However, he says it could offer an opportunity to Scott Wright who replaced the Romanian and also hit the net.
He tells Sky Sports: "He's a bit sore now but it shouldn't keep him out too long. He potentially may miss Tuesday.
"Scott Wright could have started today, in pre-season he's been outstanding, we've been working on him a lot. He's really in my thinking for Tuesday night now."
On the victory, Gerrard added: "I thought from the first whistle to the fist goal we were terrific, but then our mentality changed, we complicated the game, everyone was taking an extra touch.
"From 2-0 to the end of the game we were fantastic again so it was just that middle part."

Well, that was a really entertaining first half. St Mirren got the opener when Eamonn Brophy lashed home after just four minutes, and then both sides had plenty of chances.
Dundee left it to the last few minutes of the half, but are ultimately level after Joe Shaughnessy deflected a corner into his own net.
Finely poised.
A physical first half in Dingwall with a lot more fouls to speak of than chances.
Ross County have edged it in terms of openings and look like a side that have played more competitive matches than their opponents.
St Johnstone are rarely out of games and look like they have another couple of gears in them for the second half.
Joe Shaughnessy (own goal)
Right on the stroke of half-time and Dundee are level!
The corner comes in and on first glance it looked as though Charlie Adam had headed home, but it's come off the back of St Mirren captain Shaughnessy's head.
Game on.
Dundee 0-1 St Mirren
Eamonn Brophy and Curtis Main are like a throwback strike partnership.
Main flicks on for his teammate once more but, unlike for the opener, Dundee goalkeeper Adam Legzdins manages to push away Brophy's thumping effort.
Ross County 0-0 St Johnstone
Ross County should be ahead. Ross Callachan gets beyond his team-mates to go in on goal but slides his shot across the target and out. Regan Charles-Cook at the back post looked near enough to slide in and convert but it was not to be for the Highlanders.
Dundee 0-1 St Mirren
Charlie Adam and Ethan Erhahon were exchanging some heated views there as the Dundee captain nudged the Scotland youth international to the deck.
Adam felt he went down a bit too easily. Erhahon disagreed. Easy, lads.
A minute later and Adam's free-kick goes all the way through to Jak Alnwick.
Ross County 0-0 St Johnstone
St Johnstone's Callum Hendry is able to resume after a change of top while Ross County captain Keith Watson continues with his napper bandaged up after that clash of heads.
The referee's patience is exhausted minutes later as Coll Donaldson is booked for leading with an arm in an aerial joust with Jamie McCart.
Off topic, the new St Johnstone away strip harks back to the change kit they wore in the late 1980s and early 90s.

Ross County 0-0 St Johnstone
A nasty looking clash of heads in Dingwall as Callum Hendry and Keith Watson tangle in the air. Both players require treatment straight away while their team-mates take the opportunity to get a drink of water.
Dundee 0-1 St Mirren
St Mirren goalkeeper Jak Alnwick makes an excellent stop of his own now, pushing Jason Cummings' goal-bound shot wide.
Good, direct play from Paul McMullan to set that chance up.
Dundee 0-1 St Mirren
Eamonn Brophy and Curtis Main are combining well up front for St Mirren. This time Brophy sets up his partner, who charges towards the near post, only for Dundee goalkeeper Adam Legzdins to deny him.
