Will Rangers skoosh it again?published at 12:35 British Summer Time 31 July 2021
Scottish Premiership
As ever, most of the chatter surrounds Rangers and Celtic but there is plenty of intrigue elsewhere.
Last season, Steven Gerrard's side cruised to a first title in a decade, unbeaten and 25 points ahead of their Glasgow rivals, who had to contend with an empty trophy cabinet for the first time since 2009-10.
Rangers appear well placed to defend their crown, with at least two strong players for every position, while Celtic look like they need five or six new faces to make up a competitive XI.
Hibs were best of the rest last time and they will have Edinburgh rivals Hearts along for company again, while there is an air of expectancy at Aberdeen as Stephen Glass begins his first full campaign.
And just where do St Johnstone go after a cup double and fifth place?
