    Dundee 0-1 St Mirren

Marcus Fraser is showing the referee Craig Napier some stud marks on his shin after a challenge with Dundee captain Charlie Adam.

Adam's not having it, but he's definitely stood on the St Mirren defender.

It did look accidental, to be fair.

  2. FULL-TIME Rangers 3-0 Livingstonpublished at 15:24 British Summer Time 31 July 2021

Rangers stroll to a 20th consecutive home league win as they get their title defence up and running.

Ianis Hagi lashed in an early goal, Scott Wright added a second-half cracker with the outside of his boot and Kemar Roofe helped himself to a late strike with Livingston utterly knackered by that stage.

    Ross County 0-0 St Johnstone

It's been an uncomfortable start to the match for Ross County's Dominic Samuel, with the striker being taken out for the second time already in this match. This time St Johnstone's Jason Kerr is the one who is penalised and Samuel requires a bit of treatment before returning to the fray.

A real lack of composure from both sides so far in Dingwall is similarly not helping this game flow.

Dundee's afternoon has just got a lot worse. Striker Danny Mullen has had to go off after falling awkwardly after challenging Joe Shaughnessy for the ball.

He's had to go off on a stretcher. Let's hope it's not long term. Jason Cummings is on in his place.

The technique from Scott Wright is absolutely sensational. With the outside of his right foot he bends it into the far corner, what a finish from the young man.

Big chance for Ross County as Regan Charles-Cook nods over the St Johnstone goal. The winger was on his own in the box but got under his header.

    Scott Wright

A spot of head tennis in the Livingston box and the visitors just can't clear their lines. The ball falls to Scott Wright, who curls a peach of a shot inside the opposite post with the outside of his boot.

    Eamonn Brophy

What were we just saying about that start by Dundee? A simple punt down the park from goalkeeper Jak Alnwick, a flick on by Curtis Main, and Eamonn Brophy runs through to lash the ball home.

What a start for St Mirren.

    Rangers 1-0 Livingston

Livingston sub Jaze Kabia is getting some treatment after coming off worst in a crunching 50-50 with Glen Kamara.

He's limping off but should be able to carry on, now that we're back to three replacements.

I was keen to watch Fashion Sakala this afternoon. He hasn't been involved though, he really struggled to make an impact this afternoon. I think we'll see far more from him as the season goes on.

  20. Roofe on for Sakalapublished at 15:02 British Summer Time 31 July 2021

Fashion Sakala has not been involved much for Rangers today, barely getting a meaningful touch. His afternoon is over now as Kemar Roofe comes off the bench.
