This match wouldn't be a "five-star dinner", Saints boss Ralph Hasenhuttl warned us.
It's not even been a one-star feed so far. More crisp sandwich than caviar on cracker.

Manchester City 1-0 Burnley
Martin Keown
Former England defender on BBC One
Bernardo Silva doesn't get enough credit, he's brilliant. Phil Foden has the shot and he seems to get better and better every time we see him.
The amount of City players in the box is unbelievable - it could go to any one of them but it feels right and proper it falls to Silva - he's a wonderful player. He gets lost among those other galacticos but he is a fantastic player.

Former Scotland defender on BBC Radio 5 Live
Man Utd's full-backs need to be on top form to nullify the threat from Leicester. Timothy Castagne and James Maddison are causing issues, Vardy is going out, too.
Man City 1-0 Burnley
Chris Bevan
BBC Sport at Etihad Stadium
Bernardo Silva has been one of City's stand-out performers this season and he can claim credit for helping to make that goal, as well as scoring it - it was his ball that teed up Phil Foden for the initial shot.
Things have carried on much the same since City scored, with Burnley defending extremely deep and City dominating possession, while looking extremely dangerous.
Leicester 0-0 Man Utd
Paul Pogba leaps high but heads over from a corner.
Sporting another new hairdo with blue streaks in it.
Man City 1-0 Burnley
Excellent defending from Nathan Collins as he comes across to rob it off Kevin de Bruyne just as he's teeing up a shot with his right foot.
Man City 1-0 Burnley
Leon Osman
Former England midfielder on BBC One
Spot on from Manchester City - the game hasn't just been played in the Burnley half it feels like it's been played in the penalty area. Burnley struggling to get the ball. Phil Foden around 16-yards out, Burnley just can't put pressure on him and he just follows his run, good save initially from the Burnley keeper but Bernardo Silva is right on hand to finish.
Burnley struggling to get out - you fear for them now.
Aston Villa 0-0 Wolves
Ooh this is close.
John 'we know he can hit them' McGinn lets the ball drop 25 yards and strikes it cleanly on the bounce, but pulls it a yard wide of the post.
The Scot scored against Israel in midweek.
Norwich 0-0 Brighton
Joel Veltman goes into the book and concedes a free-kick in the middle. Norwich pile players into the box and it's floated straight into Robert Sanchez's hands.
Waste.
Southampton 0-0 Leeds United
First shot towards goal and it comes from a Southampton boot.
Saints forward Nathan Redmond thrashes a low, angled effort from just outside the box, Leeds keeper Illan Meslier watches it wide without even a slight increase of BPM.
Man City 1-0 Burnley
Kevin de Bruyne curls it beautifully towards the back post but Joao Cancelo's volley is blocked by Nick Pope!
Norwich 0-0 Brighton
First real chance from either side and it falls to Joshua Sargent. He cuts onto his right foot and flashes a dangerous effort just past the far post. It takes a deflection too.

Concerned about the back four today. No Varane, AWB and Lindelof unconvincing. Can see them getting exposed on the counter.
Mark, Manchester.
Leicester 0-0 Man Utd
Mason Greenwood starts the move and almost finishes it.
Brilliant play from the Manchester United youngster, picking the ball up in his own half and exchanging passes with Bruno Fernandes but a shot from the edge of the area is weak and straight at Kasper Schmeichel.
Leicester 0-0 Man Utd
Alan Hutton
Former Scotland defender on BBC Radio 5 Live
Leicester are working the attacking areas so well, with little movements from Vardy, Iheanacho, Maddison. There have been questions asked about Maddison, but he is making things happen.
Bernardo Silva (12 mins)
Bernardo Silva is involved in the build-up, linking up with Joao Cancelo on the right.
It's cut back to Phil Foden on the edge of the box, he strikes it low towards the bottom right corner and it's fumbled back out by Nick Pope into the path of Silva, who thumps it into the net from a yard out.
Will the floodgates open now?

David Haimes: Fascinating match up for me, Leicester are going to press in the midfield and break quickly. Man Utd are 11 players thrown on the field to figure it out for themselves.
Aston Villa 0-0 Wolves
There's been a long delay as visiting midfielder Ruben Neves needs treatment for a challenge from a Villa player but it looks like the Portugal international will be able to carry on.
Man City 0-0 Burnley
Joao Cancelo and Bernardo Silva work it around nicely on the right but it's away by Erik Pieters at the near post.
Aymeric Laporte then switches it back over to Cancelo on the right.
Southampton 0-0 Leeds United
Right then. Saints have a free-kick about 35 yards out on the Leeds left. The big lads go up, the ball is swung in, but Diego Llorente heads clear.
The home side are starting to find their groove, a bit like the band playing before kick off.
Leeds are knocking a few stray passes into touch. Very charitable.
