    Brighton 0-1 Man City

Jack Grealish finds Gabriel Jesus, whose low 16-yard shot is parried away by Robert Sanchez.

In a way it was a morale-boosting save after that error but maybe he should have caught it. Either way Brighton clear.

There is a VAR check to see if Gabriel Jesus fouled Robert Sanchez but the decision is... GOAL STANDS. Man City lead.

    Howler.

Phil Foden has a deflected shot which loops into the air. It's a simple catch for Robert Sanchez and he fumbles it - Gabriel Jesus was in front of him but not fouling him. Bernardo Silva is able to hook the ball to Ilkay Gundogan, who scores into an empty net.

    WHAAAAAAT??

    WHAT A GOALLINE CLEARANCE!!!!!

City counter and Gabriel Jesus is picked out in space on the right. He takes it wide, goes past Marc Cucurella and clips the ball into an empty net. Or so we think because there is Lewis Dunk to bicycle kick the ball off the line. Phil Foden was behind him too.

First chance of the game and it's Manchester City. Joao Cancelo slams one in from just outside the box, it's deflected by a defender and Robert Sanchez parries it away.

Southampton boss Ralph Hasenhuttl, speaking to Match of the Day: "We had some good moments when we created a lot of chances and were aggressive with the ball.

"After conceding, we started doing what we wanted but we didn’t have enough in the second half.

"We got the goal and had a few chances but did not do enough. We changed the shape in the last 20 minutes because we were really having problems with winning the second balls.

"The draw is a fair result. We had a better first half after conceding the goal and they had the better second half."

On the impact of Tino Livramento and Armando Broja: "They are very important players for us and they are absolutely positive signings we could make in the summer. We know that young players can get a chance in our club.

"Hopefully Broja does not have too many problems with his ankle. They are both very young and with a lot of talent and they feel comfortable with this team in this club.

"In the Southampton way, we want to work with these young lads and make them better. They may not stay long with us but we will help them."
