Watford are growing into this game. Joao Pedro puts in a lovely cross which Josh King can't quite get a connection to.

Straight down the other end, Adam Armstrong heads a Kyle Walker-Peters delivery inches over the bar.

Gabriel Jesus and Wilfried Zaha get involved in a little tussle, with the former feeling he's taken a knock before charging into the back of the latter in retaliation.

    Liverpool 1-0 Brighton

Yves Bissouma goes so close for Brighton. He wins the ball on the halfway line, surges forward and then hits a sweet swerving strike from 20 yards off the post.

Actually it's a good save, Alisson touched it onto the upright. The corner comes to nothing.

    Man City 0-1 Crystal Palace

Palace are firmly on the back foot now as City look for a quick parity-restoring goal. The visitors are compact, though. They're keeping the champions at bay despite giving up a lot of the ball in their own half.

Funny isn’t it? When we don’t have Henderson, Fabinho and two teenagers as our only fit defenders all season we look like title winners again? Who’d have thought!

Isaac Hayden drops to the turf and requires a bit of treatment. Newcastle could do without an early injury blow.

Almost a second Chris Wood goal. He gets a good head onto Johann Gudmundsson's cross but Premier League debutant Alvaro Fernandez makes a decent, low save.

Now Wood fires over the bar but he was offside anyway.

The away supporters are at the far end of the stadium to where Crystal Palace scored so there was a slight delay before they started celebrating.

Conor Gallagher deserves credit for winning possession high up the pitch and whilst Wilfried Zaha's strike wasn't the cleanest it was pretty accurate.

If he's not scoring then Mo Salah is setting them up. His assist allows Jordan Henderson to fire home from the edge of the box in front of The Kop. They loved that!

You have to go back to 7 March the last time they failed to score in the top-flight. That was their 44th goal in 15 games in all competitions this season.
