  1. On the road again...published at 12:15 British Summer Time 30 October 2021

    Leicester v Arsenal (12:30 BST)

So yeah, Arsenal are unbeaten in six Premier League matches. This having lost their opening three games this season by an aggregate score of 9-0.

They have also lost just two of their past 11 league games on the road (W6, D3). However, Mikel Arteta's side have scored only one goal in their four Premier League away games so far this season. Only Norwich have had fewer attempts on target away from home than Arsenal's nine. Ouch.

  2. A good start?published at 12:12 British Summer Time 30 October 2021

    Leicester v Arsenal (12:30 BST)

Feels like a potentially decent game to kick us off this afternoon. But maybe I'm wrong. You tell me.

After an inconsistent start, Leicester are beginning to find form again as they look to end this frustrating run of seasons where they narrowly miss out on the top four.

Their hosts today, Arsenal, are a funny old club. They retain designs on being one of English football's agenda-defining clubs, but of late that has been as much for what has gone wrong as right. Things have actually been very right for them of late. The 14 points they've picked up in the last six games is bettered only by Chelsea.

But there remains that feeling that if things go wrong again, the volume on the disgruntlement will quickly get cranked up.

Five-a-side football can be cut-throat. Let Tom from Exeter explain...

Earlier this year I joined a 'casual' 5-a-side group in an attempt to get fit. I played so badly they deleted me from the group chat straight after the game without so much as a goodbye!

Gunners boss Mikel Arteta has confirmed that a sickness bug in the squad has affected preparations for Saturday's Premier League trip to Leicester City.

Defender Pablo Mari missed Tuesday's Carabao Cup victory over Leeds with the virus.

"It was a bit of sickness, tummy aches and stuff like that. Hopefully everyone will be OK," Arteta said.

"[White] hasn't trained yet so we will have to wait and see how he is feeling and make the decision then.

"A few have been unable to train and we also picked up some knocks in the game against Leeds as well. Hopefully we will have better news."

Remember waiting to see one of my favourite bands at Reading Fest 2011 and getting constant disappointing updates when Arsenal lost 8-2 to Man Utd. Hasn't improved much since.

    Sam, Kent

28 August 2011. Man Utd 8-2 Arsenal. A nightmare in the Theatre of Screams. That Arsenal line up that still scares me now.

Ah, poor old Arsene. He's had some ups and downs at Old Trafford. This was probably the lowest. Although being sent to the stands in 2009 gives it a run for its money.

Some great responses to this already!

Philz: Arsenal vs Birmingham Carling Cup final in 2011. Was my first time in the new Wembley stadium and the mistake that cost us that game made me regret being there. 2006 Champions League final vs Barcelona too.

Jordan McKay: Loris Karius in the 2018 Champions League final. But what a platform it ended up being.

Matt Bailey: FA Cup semi-final 1994. Oldham v Man U. 1-0 up with a minute to play. Hughes scores a volley that shouldn't be physically possible. We lose the replay. Don't win again and get relegated. Utd go on to win the title. Such small margins... #oafc

Tony Hobbs: Everton, every season, every week. Just when you think it can’t become more of a disaster they break the mould again. They’re definitely a social experiment to see how much heartache we can take before giving up.

Tell us how you really feel, Tony!
