When has your EFL club re-signed a fans' favourite?

James Turnpenny (in Hong Kong): If you are talking about re-signing players, you have to mention Juninho at Middlesbrough - amazing player and got us the League Cup in 03-04 in his third spell. Club legend!

David Pritchard: How about the great Stanley Matthews returning to Stoke City in 1961. I watched as a 10-year-old. Incidentally the opponents that day were today’s Championship opponents, Huddersfield Town, and Stoke won 3-0. A good omen for today perhaps!
