    Man Utd 1-5 Chelsea

    Rachel Brown-Finnis
    Ex-England goalkeeper on BBC Two

She's only been on the pitch a few minutes but Drew Spence was not going to miss that. Great finish.

Her minutes have been limited over the past seasons but she's a huge presence for this club and a wonderful figure around the dressing room.

GOAL - Man Utd 1-5 Chelseapublished at 87 mins

    Drew Spence

    Instant impact!

Her minutes have been limited, but Drew Spence has taken her chance when it came.

Fellow substitute Beth England lays it off to the midfielder who takes a touch before rifling in Chelsea's fifth of the game.

She enjoyed that one as she cupped her ears in celebration.

  8. Game managementpublished at 14:07 British Summer Time 26 September 2021

    Man Utd 1-4 Chelsea

    Rachel Brown-Finnis
    Ex-England goalkeeper on BBC Two

Chelsea just need to keep the ball, keep the tempo and try not to force things.

Manchester United have had a renewed sense of confidence in this second half but I'm sure Emma Hayes will be watching closely to see how well her team manage the game and see out the win.

  9. Kerr restores Chelsea's three-goal leadpublished at 14:04 British Summer Time 26 September 2021

  11. Russo gives Man Utd hope against Chelseapublished at 14:00 British Summer Time 26 September 2021

    Man Utd 1-4 Chelsea

Alessia Russo came close there, but here's a look at her deflected goal which earlier gave Man Utd some hope against the reigning champions.

She's given the hosts a spark since coming on for the second half.

  12. 'A rocket'published at 13:59 British Summer Time 26 September 2021

    Man Utd 1-4 Chelsea

    Rachel Brown-Finnis
    Ex-England goalkeeper on BBC Two

That's all about Alessia Russo - a brilliant bit of individual play.

She shields the ball so well, works some space and absolutely rockets it.

    So unfortunate.

  13. HITS THE WOODWORKpublished at 13:58 British Summer Time 26 September 2021

    Man Utd 1-4 Chelsea

Brilliant stuff from Alessia Russo. She takes the ball on the turn and powers past three Chelsea defenders before unleashing the shot which crashes against the crossbar.

Ann-Katrin Berger would have had no chance if that was a couple of inches lower.

  14. 'A let-off'published at 13:54 British Summer Time 26 September 2021

    Man Utd 1-4 Chelsea

    Rachel Brown-Finnis
    Ex-England goalkeeper on BBC Two

    It's a let-off for Chelsea.

The ball from Katie Zelem was straight to Leah Galton, great movement from her to lose her marker but she doesn't get enough direction on the header.

Man Utd have certainly warmed up the crowd, there's an energy there and some belief that they can get something from this game.

  15. Postpublished at 64 mins

    Man Utd 1-4 Chelsea

Man Utd are creating plenty of chances now, but they just can't hit the target. Leah Galton and Alessia Russo both have a go, but Ann-Katrin Berger remains relatively untroubled.

  16. 'Be aggressive'published at 13:51 British Summer Time 26 September 2021

    Man Utd 1-4 Chelsea

    Rachel Brown-Finnis
    Ex-England goalkeeper on BBC Two

Man Utd need to re-gather themselves and implement the belief they had at the beginning of the half.

You could see what Mark Skinner had asked them to do, be more aggressive, be more attacking and it worked, they got a goal from it.

In the opening 10 minutes, they've created more than in the entire first half.

  17. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 13:51 British Summer Time 26 September 2021

    Man Utd 1-4 Chelsea

Emma Hayes makes a first change as Niamh Charles makes way for Jonna Andersson.

  18. 'So frustrating'published at 13:45 British Summer Time 26 September 2021

    Man Utd 1-4 Chelsea

    Rachel Brown-Finnis
    Ex-England goalkeeper on BBC Two

So frustrating for the players - but it's what Chelsea do.

In the opening 10 minutes of the half, they put teams under pressure.

Sam Kerr was offside though, she got fortunate with the first contact as well but you can't say they haven't deserved it at the start of this half even though Man Utd pulled one back.

  19. goal

GOAL - Man Utd 1-4 Chelseapublished at 51 mins

    Sam Kerr

Another Fran Kirby assist, another Sam Kerr goal.

Chelsea win the ball back from Mary Earps' goal kick and Kirby is unleashed down the right wing. She hits a first time cross and Kerr takes a touch before smashing in her second of the game.

It looks like the Australian is offside as the ball comes in, but the goal is given.

The reigning champions have restored their three-goal lead just three minutes after Man Utd pulled a goal back.

  20. 'Pounced'published at 13:41 British Summer Time 26 September 2021

    Man Utd 1-3 Chelsea

    Rachel Brown-Finnis
    Ex-England goalkeeper on BBC Two

Manchester United have done to Chelsea what the Blues did to them and pounced on them.

They've made the most of some early pressure. Ella Toone finds a bit of space, threads the ball through but I'm really sure what Millie Bright's doing. She plays Alessia Russo onside and then it's come off her and into the net.

These first few minutes are end to end!
