The game has settled a bit now after that electric start from Chelsea. Man Utd have had more of the ball recently, but haven't done much to trouble the defending champions yet. The hosts are yet to have a shot on target.

Kirsty Hanson cuts outside and makes a great run down the right. Leah Galton makes the run into the box, but Hanson's ball goes beyond the danger area and out for a throw.

Interesting to see Katie Zelem going in strongly in the middle of the park. I'm certainly not against a bit of physicality in there.

I guess we'll find out who is up for the battle.

Ona Batlle leaves Niamh Charles for dust down the left and gets in a decent cross, but it doesn't get past Millie Bright and the England defender clears the danger.

Hannah Blundell will have a point to prove today. She was not preferred at right back for Chelsea over a couple of seasons. She's a great professional and has been most welcome for Man Utd. She'll be determined to show that she's good enough to be a starter in the WSL.

Fran Kirby's 50th WSL goal means she moves to third in the competition's all-time scoring charts behind Vivianne Miedema (63) and Ellen White (54).

Amazing especially given her injury troubles and her recovery from illness.

For Chelsea, Sam Kerr and Fran Kirby’s partnership has been fantastic. Kerr’s movement in the box is so good, she’s alert, she’s first onto all ricochets. She’s proved her worth in terms of the goals she has scored and is such a threat.

Another chance for Chelsea as the ball falls to Sam Kerr who hits it on the volley, but it's off target and behind for a goal kick.

Man Utd's first real attack ends with Lucy Staniforth lifting a high ball towards the far post, but she puts too much on it and Leah Galton can't get anywhere near it.

It was on the cards. Man Utd have caused themselves so many problems.

Yes, they may want to play out from the back but that might want to change that philosophy in the face of a pumped-up Sam Kerr and Fran Kirby.

They never got out of trouble there and it couldn't have been an easier 50th goal for Fran Kirby in the WSL.

It's almost a dream start for Chelsea as they win the ball back from kick-offSam Kerr forces a low, one-handed save from Mary Earps.

Emma Hayes side needed less than 30 seconds to show their danger in front of goal. That was close!

The hosts get us under way and we are off.

Will it be fourth time lucky for the hosts against the reigning champions?

International breaks are difficult for clubs. They probably wouldn’t have been able to get on the pitch and do stuff - it'll mainly have been classroom-based.

But I don’t think tactics will have changed much – it’ll be interesting to see who copes best with it.
