    The only real glimmer of hope for Chelsea late in the half was Ji So-yun's introduction.

    The South Korean added a spark that was lacking when she replaced Sophie Ingle. It was a big early call from Emma Hayes, but it looks to have been the right one.

    Wolfsburg's fans have plenty to be happy about at half-time.

    The hosts dominated the first half and their captain Svenja Huth has netted twice to give them an all-important 2-0 lead.
