    Derby 1-0 QPR

QPR win another free-kick in a good area to float a ball into the box as Albert Adomah causes more problems down the Derby left.

Ilias Chair's free-kick is floated in and Charlie Austin has a free header 12 yards out but he heads it over - should have done better.

QPR have been excellent this month - winning three and drawing the other of their four games.

But Mark Warburton's side have not been behind in any of those matches and Derby have the best defensive record outside the top three.

Can Rangers break down the hosts? So far they've not really had an effort of note.

    Derby 1-0 QPR

QPR win a free-kick midway in the Derby half after Liam Thompson fouls Chris Willock.

It's floated in but evades everyone and goes out for a goal kick...

    Derby 1-0 QPR

A third of the way into this game and Derby are good value for their lead.

It's been quite a tight game, but other than Tom Lawrence's goal we've not really had an effort to worry either goalkeeper.

Rangers are starting to get a bit more possession and Albert Adomah is getting a bit of joy down the right for the Londoners, who are aiming for a third successive victory.

Chris Kirchner (the guy in the cap) is the US businessman linked with a bid to take over Derby County.

If they keep playing as they have in the opening few minutes he might just empty his wallet tonight.

He'll need a pretty big wallet - the club's debts are said to be around £60m.....

QPR win another corner - great run by Chris Willock and his cross is hacked away.

Rangers play a short corner, but Ilias Chair's cross is blocked.

Lovely bit of possession for QPR - really patient stuff.

Eventually a long ball comes out to Albert Adomah deep in the penalty area and the winger plays it back to Charlie Austin, but his effort from about 15 yards out is blocked.

Billy Dainty: Wayne Rooney not given enough credit by the media for his work at Derby. If he was a Scott Parker or a Frank Lampard, he'd be hailed as the next Pep Guardiola.

Woah, big words from Billy. If Rooney manages to keep Derby up this season, the Guardiola comparison would definitely be a fair one!

    Derby 1-0 QPR

Ravel Morrison slices a shot wide from 25 yards out.

Not a great effort, but nice build-up play from the Rams.

The home side are well and truly on top at the moment.

    Derby 1-0 QPR

Dangerous-looking low pass from the left by Craig Forsyth for Derby County.

Seny Dieng gathers it well, but nobody was there to get across the front post and worry the QPR defence.

    Derby 1-0 QPR

Worrying moment for the home side as Albert Adomah does well to rob the full back of the ball and get to the byeline.

But his cross from the right is palmed away by Derby keeper Kelle Roos.

    Derby 1-0 QPR

Ilias Chair's corner from the right isn't dealt with properly by Derby.

Chair gets it back on the right and hits a pass against Craig Forsyth's legs for another corner - good bit of pressure here for the R's.

Stefan Johansen's corner is headed away by the Rams in a dangerous area in front of goal and the home crowd is back in full voice.

    Derby 1-0 QPR

'The Rams are staying up' is the chant from the Pride Park faithful.

It's early days in this game but that goal has really lit a fuse under Derby's players, who are chasing everything.

As I say that QPR win a corner after a bit of a defensive mix-up....

    Tom Lawrence

A wonderful pass from Greame Shinnie to split open the QPR defence and Tom Lawrence is away on goal.

The Wales striker and Derby captain gets just inside the 18-yard box and thunders a right-footed shot into the top corner.

A 50th professional goal for Lawrence and a great start for the Rams.

    Derby 0-0 QPR

Both sides still sussing each other out at the moment.

QPR have had a bit more possession, but Derby have not looked troubled and broken up the play in midfield a couple of times.

    Derby 0-0 QPR

Rangers having a bit of early possession now.

Ilias Chair and Phil Jagielka had a bit of a foot race that the former England defender won against the R's forward.

What the former Everton defender, now 39, no longer has in pace he makes up for with experience.

All Derby in the opening minutes here.

They've done well to keep hold of possession and could have been ahead had Graeme Shinnie found the target.

So close to a great start for Derby.

Just 25 seconds in and Graeme Shinnie drags a shot wide after finding space on the edge of the box.

Tom Lawrence did well down the right to create the chance.
