Reading miss the opportunity to put a bit more daylight between themselves and the bottom three after that defeat.

Let's have a quick look at the Championship table before we close up...

  6. FULL-TIMEpublished at 22:01 Greenwich Mean Time 23 November 2021

    Reading 0-1 Sheffield United

    All over.

Jayden Bogle's close range volley early in the second half settles this one.

Concern meanwhile though for the Blades after John Fleck needed lengthy treatment midway through the second 45. We hope he is recovering well.

Reading fail to win for the fifth home match in a row and they are just two points above the bottom three.

  7. Postpublished at 21:59 Greenwich Mean Time 23 November 2021

    Reading 0-1 Sheffield United

    Three minutes to play.

Reading appear to be running out of ideas how to get through the Blades here.

  8. Postpublished at 21:55 Greenwich Mean Time 23 November 2021

    Reading 0-1 Sheffield United

Halfway through the 13 added minutes.

Reading pushing hard to find a leveller and committing men forward but also leaving space at the back which the Blades could exploit.

Luke Southwood is alert though and sweeping up high up the pitch coming out of his own goal.

Plenty of time for another twist you feel.

  13. 'I am sure West Brom will be OK'published at 21:47 Greenwich Mean Time 23 November 2021

    FT: Blackpool 0-0 West Brom

    Calvin Andrew
Ex-Rochdale, Mansfield and Port Vale forward on Squad Goals

The drop in form will impact going into Christmas.

The pressure is growing on the manager (Valerien Ismael) with the way they are playing but I am sure they will be OK with the squad they have got.

  14. Postpublished at 21:45 Greenwich Mean Time 23 November 2021

    Reading 0-1 Sheffield United

Still plenty to play in this match despite there being only five minutes on the clock after that long delay for John Fleck's injury.

Andy Carroll has a strike from outside the box for Reading that Wes Foderingham gets across to his left to parry away from danger.

  15. goal

GOAL Plymouth 0-3 Wycombepublished at 21:44 Greenwich Mean Time 23 November 2021

    Anis Mehmeti (90 mins)

Thumping win this one for Wycombe.

Excellent footwork and finish from Anis Mehmeti for his second and his team's third. The long coach trip home from Devon will be a good one.

  16. FULL-TIMEpublished at 21:41 Greenwich Mean Time 23 November 2021

    Nottingham Forest 0-0 Luton Town

Done and dusted at the City Ground.

Forest cling on for the point after surviving conceding a penalty when Jack Colback was dismissed for his second yellow card and Elijah Adebayo had his spot kick saved by Brice Samba.
