    Deadlock broken in Berkshire.

Sheffield United take the lead shortly after Jayden Bogle was denied by Luke Southwood.

He can't keep this latest effort out though as David McGoldrick picks his run from deep out at the back post and he side-foots a right-foot volley in from the edge of the six-yard box.

  2. Postpublished at 21:14 Greenwich Mean Time 23 November 2021

    Middlesbrough 1-0 Preston

Somehow still only been the one goal in this one.

Both sides have gone close to finding the net in recent minutes.

Tom Barkhuizen sees an effort deflected over the crossbar to deny him an equaliser but at the other end Daniel Iversen has denied Onel Hernandez and Andraz Sporar with fine stops while Ben Whiteman has also tested him.

    Reading 0-0 Sheffield United

Still goalless in the early stages of the second half, but only down to Reading goalkeeper Luke Southwood.

He makes a fine stop from close range to deny Jayden Bogle putting the Blades ahead.

Not a night for goals in the Championship so far.

  5. MISSED PENALTY BY LUTONpublished at 21:08 Greenwich Mean Time 23 November 2021

    Nottingham Forest 0-0 Luton Town

    And it remains goalless!

Elijah Adebayo takes the spot kick for Luton but he goes straight down the middle and Brice Samba makes the block with his legs despite initially diving to his right.

It just about loops over the crossbar and behind.

  6. RED CARD (Jack Colback)published at 21:08 Greenwich Mean Time 23 November 2021

    Nottingham Forest 0-0 Luton Town

This might change the complexion of this game.

Forest are reduced to 10 men as Jack Colback is sent off for a second bookable offence as he bundles over Tom Lockyer while a corner is whipped in.

    Penalty to the visitors!

  7. League Two latestpublished at 21:07 Greenwich Mean Time 23 November 2021

The leaders Forest Green are up and running thanks to a Matt Stevens strike at home to Barrow.

Welsh wizard Jonny Williams had scored for Swindon, but Matty Daly has quickly equalised for visitors Hartlepool.

A big turnaround on the Wirral since half-time where goals from Kieron Morris and Paul Glatzel mean Tranmere now lead Bradford 2-1.

Down in Sussex, Kwesi Appiah has broken the deadlock in Crawley's game with Newport.

Elliott List has equalised for the second time this evening for Stevenage at Rochdale, while Carl Piergianni has given Oldham a glimmer of hope at Northampton as they now trail 2-1.

    Blackpool 0-0 West Brom

The Baggies make a couple of changes as they look to break the deadlock.

Grady Diangana and Matt Phillips are off and Jordan Hugill and Callum Robinson are on.

  9. Postpublished at 21:06 Greenwich Mean Time 23 November 2021

    Nottingham Forest 0-0 Luton Town

Philip Zinckernagel loves a shot from range it seems.

The Forest midfielder almost produces an opener but his latest curling right-footed effort goes just over the crossbar for the hosts on the hour mark.

    Colchester 2-0 Exeter

    Calvin Andrew
Ex-Rochdale, Mansfield and Port Vale forward on Squad Goals

I've made decisions not to join clubs based on their geographical location, as you know you are going to be on the road and on the coach for hours on end for away matches. That takes a toll on your body.

That's maybe what you are seeing with Exeter tonight.

  13. Postpublished at 20:57 Greenwich Mean Time 23 November 2021

    Nottingham Forest 0-0 Luton Town

Forest with the best chance of the second half to find an opener.

Lyle Taylor thinks he's got it but is denied by a good save low down by James Shea in Luton's goal.

Bolton's game is 15 minutes behind all the rest in League One, and they have just gone to half-time 2-0 up on Doncaster thanks to Eoin Doyle and Elias Kachunga.

But the second half at Hillsborough has been lit up by a 25-yard stunner from Scott Twine for MK Dons at Sheffield Wednesday.

  15. Postpublished at 20:54 Greenwich Mean Time 23 November 2021

    Middlesbrough 1-0 Preston

Boro go close to finding a second goal once again.

Lee Peltier crashes a shot off the crossbar for the hosts and Daniel Iversen in Preston's goal looks a relieved man as he watches it bounce away to safety after getting fingertips on it.

  16. Postpublished at 20:53 Greenwich Mean Time 23 November 2021

    Blackpool 0-0 West Brom

Chances at both ends at the start of the second half.

    Coventry City 0-0 Birmingham City

    Ged Scott
BBC Sport at the CBS Arena

After such a competitive first half, it already looks hard to split these two teams.

But, if it does end up a draw, at least there's been one winning team here tonight.

Warwickshire's cricketers paraded two pieces of silverware at half-time - both their their County Championship crown and the Bob Willis Trophy.

Unusual to hear a few strains of "You Bears" on a cold night in November! Definitely not cricketing weather tonight.

An entertaining but goalless first half here at Home Park between League One leaders Plymouth Argyle and fourth-placed Wycombe Wanderers.

But the end of the half was overshadowed by a serious injury to Argyle's Zimbabwe defender Brendan Galloway.

He went down in agony after an innocuous-looking challenge just outside the Wycombe area and needed gas and air as he was stretchered off.

He joined Argyle in a short-term deal this summer after two injury-hit seasons at Luton Town - everyone in the stands here at Home Park is hoping the former Everton man's injury is not as serious as it looks.

  20. HALF-TIMEpublished at 20:47 Greenwich Mean Time 23 November 2021

    Reading 0-0 Sheffield United

    Interval time in Berkshire.

A lively start but not much in terms of action in the latter stages of that first half. Goalless at the break.
