    Watford 0-0 Chelsea

Watford are still playing well. Chelsea haven't got going at all, that Mason Mount ding aside.

  2. Postpublished at 20:29 Greenwich Mean Time 1 December 2021

    Everton 0-1 Liverpool

In the 12th minute and there's applause from both sets of fans in memory of Ava White, who was tragically killed in Liverpool last week.

    Aston Villa 0-0 Man City

Raheem Sterling has Matty Cash on toast here. He beats him for pace, cuts one way to evade him and then the other. The England forward's cross lacks precision, though.

  4. Postpublished at 20:28 Greenwich Mean Time 1 December 2021

    Everton 0-1 Liverpool

Shouts for a free kick from the home fans as Lucas Digne goes down on the edge of the area under pressure from Mo Salah but nothing given.

  5. Postpublished at 20:27 Greenwich Mean Time 1 December 2021

    Aston Villa 0-0 Man City

It's certainly lively here. The Villa fans are bang up for it against one of the big boys.

    Everton 0-1 Liverpool

    Phil McNulty
BBC Sport chief football writer at Goodison Park

Liverpool ahead and that has been coming from the first whistle. Everton have looked desperately vulnerable while Liverpool look dangerous every time they come forward.

    Everton 0-1 Liverpool

    Alan Hutton
Former Scotland defender on BBC Radio 5 Live

Sweetly struck from Jordan Henderson - well worked down the left hand side, underlap from Andy Robertson who cuts it back to the edge of the D and Henderson just caresses it and Jordan Pickford has got no chance. He dives to his right hand side and can't get anywhere near it - sweet, sweet finish.

What's so great about it is the composure he shows to not just blast it.

  8. Postpublished at 20:26 Greenwich Mean Time 1 December 2021

    Aston Villa 0-0 Man City

And after all that, Villa nearly grab the lead. Ollie Watkins and Emiliano Buendia keep an attack alive in the box before Leon Bailey's shot is blocked.

  9. Postpublished at 20:25 Greenwich Mean Time 1 December 2021

    Aston Villa 0-0 Man City

Villa have barely touched the ball. But when they finally do, Ollie Watkins is clattered near halfway for a free-kick that gives them some time to catch a moment and regroup.

GOAL - Everton 0-1 Liverpoolpublished at 20:24 Greenwich Mean Time 1 December 2021

    Jordan Henderson (9 mins)

    What a lovely finish!

Sadio Mane and Andy Robertson link up down the left before the latter cuts the ball back to the edge of the area where Jordan Henderson waits to steer a fine strike out of Jordan Pickford's reach and into the back of the net.

It took them a little longer than it did against Southampton on Saturday but Liverpool are up and running.

  11. CLOSE!published at 20:24 Greenwich Mean Time 1 December 2021

    Everton 0-0 Liverpool

Jordan Pickford rescues his defence, who left Mohamed Salah unmarked to meet a Sadio Mane cross but his first time shot is brilliantly denied at his near post by Pickford.

Three good chances already for Liverpool. They are in the mood.

Andrew Mitchell: I’d say “You’ve got to take those chances, you might regret it later” about that Matip miss, but who am I kidding? They’ll have plenty more chances tonight

  13. Postpublished at 20:23 Greenwich Mean Time 1 December 2021

    Watford 0-0 Chelsea

This is more like we expected. Chelsea are probing around the box and showing more attacking intent.

  14. HITS THE WOODWORKpublished at 20:22 Greenwich Mean Time 1 December 2021

    Watford 0-0 Chelsea

Mason Mount is inches away from giving Chelsea the lead.

Ruben Loftus-Cheek heads the ball into the path of Mount, who slams a shot off the post.

  15. Postpublished at 20:22 Greenwich Mean Time 1 December 2021

    Aston Villa 0-0 Man City

Rodri meets the corner but can't steer it goalwards. Villa clear.

  16. Postpublished at 20:21 Greenwich Mean Time 1 December 2021

    Aston Villa 0-0 Man City

This already a huge examination of Steven Gerrard's Villa. They look like rabbits in the headlights at the moment against a City side who mean business. The visitors have another corner. Their fourth already.

  17. Postpublished at 20:21 Greenwich Mean Time 1 December 2021

    Everton 0-0 Liverpool

Really good atmosphere at Goodison - both sets of fans have been relishing this fixture.

Now Everton have a chance as Demarai Gray whips in a cross at such pace it catches out Andros Townsend, who heads it away from the Liverpool goal.

  18. HALF-TIMEpublished at 20:20 Greenwich Mean Time 1 December 2021

    West Ham 1-0 Brighton

The Hammers lead at the break through Tomas Soucek's header from a corner. West Ham haven't been able to build on it. Brighton have had chances but again they've struggled to finish.

  19. Postpublished at 20:20 Greenwich Mean Time 1 December 2021

    Watford 0-0 Chelsea

Imran Louza slams a free-kick into the wall and drags the rebound well wide. This is only his fourth Premier League game.

    Everton 0-0 Liverpool

    Alan Hutton

Really unlucky, what an opportunity for Mohamed Salah - lovely cross into the centre of the six-yard box and Salah comes in on it but he just puts it over the bar.
