  1. YELLOW CARDpublished at 21:48 Greenwich Mean Time 1 December 2021

    Watford 1-2 Chelsea

Watford midfielder Tom Cleverley is booked for fouling Hakim Ziyech, who needs treatment again.

  2. Postpublished at 21:48 Greenwich Mean Time 1 December 2021

    Aston Villa 1-2 Man City

Huge shouts for a penalty from the home fans as Douglas Luiz goes down under a challenge from Ruben Dias. Tellingly, the Villa players made little motion to the referee.

  3. Postpublished at 21:47 Greenwich Mean Time 1 December 2021

    Watford 1-2 Chelsea

A multi-pronged attack from Watford comes to nothing and Chelsea counter through Kai Havertz and Mason Mount.

Hakim Ziyech should seal the win from that break but his shot is straight at Daniel Bachmann.

  4. Postpublished at 21:46 Greenwich Mean Time 1 December 2021

    Aston Villa 1-2 Man City

    Everything but the finish!

Joao Cancelo's wonderful outside of the boot pass down the right releases Bernardo Silva. His cross is behind Gabriel Jesus near the penalty spot but he brings the ball down, turns and slices horribly wide.

  5. Postpublished at 21:45 Greenwich Mean Time 1 December 2021

    Everton 1-3 Liverpool

Diogo Jota heads over from a corner. The Portuguese forward has had a much quieter game than he did against Southampton but whenever one of the Reds' front three is (relatively) quiet one game, you can better another is lively in the next - as is the case with Mohamed Salah today.

  6. Postpublished at 21:45 Greenwich Mean Time 1 December 2021

    Watford 1-2 Chelsea

A Chelsea win here would keep them top of the table. A poor Kai Havertz first touch denies him the chance to run at goal.

  7. Postpublished at 21:43 Greenwich Mean Time 1 December 2021

    Everton 1-3 Liverpool

That goal has woken Liverpool up again and they are passing the ball around confidently, pushing for a fourth.

  8. Postpublished at 21:43 Greenwich Mean Time 1 December 2021

    Watford 1-2 Chelsea

It's hard to keep track of how long is left in what games at this stage. Twelve to go at Vicarage Road.

  9. Postpublished at 21:43 Greenwich Mean Time 1 December 2021

    Aston Villa 1-2 Man City

City just starting to wrestle back greater control now. They've quietened the home side and fans a bit.

    Everton 1-3 Liverpool

    Phil McNulty
BBC Sport chief football writer at Goodison Park

Seamus Coleman has had a nightmare there. He dawdled and Mo Salah was in. Coleman was never going to catch him and the mood around Goodison Park suggests even the Everton fans think that is that.

Game, Set and Mo Salah!!! What a player

    Sanjay, London

Poor performance from Pickford tonight. Ramsdale surely England's number one.

    Watford 1-2 Chelsea

Hakim Ziyech is back on. Chelsea don't have any more subs to use (unless there's a concussion).

  13. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 21:40 Greenwich Mean Time 1 December 2021

    Aston Villa 1-2 Man City

Matt Targett needs extensive treatment after a blow to the head. They're not going to take any chances and replace him. On comes teenage midfielder Carney Chukwuemeka. Ashley Young will move to left-back.

  14. Postpublished at 21:40 Greenwich Mean Time 1 December 2021

    Everton 1-3 Liverpool

    Alan Hutton
Former Scotland defender on BBC Radio 5 Live

Mo Salah is unstoppable at the moment - he is up there with one of the best players in the world.

Seamus Coleman needs to clear his lines, he takes a poor touch and Salah is onto it in a flash - he runs the length of the half, that is pure pace and it's a fantastic finish.

He takes his time and places it in the net - this guy is on fire.

  15. Postpublished at 21:40 Greenwich Mean Time 1 December 2021

    Watford 1-2 Chelsea

Romelu Lukaku controls the ball well and has a shot blocked.

Potential matchwinner Hakim Ziyech needs treatment now after an aerial clash with Craig Cathcart.

    Mohamed Salah (65 mins)

    Tucked in!

It looked like Everton were getting back into this but from their own corner Seamus Coleman fluffs his attempt to knock the ball back into the mix and Mohamed Salah pounces to race away and roll a shot into the far corner.

  17. Postpublished at 21:37 Greenwich Mean Time 1 December 2021

    Everton 1-2 Liverpool

Oooh, Anthony Gordon is brought down by Andy Robertson as he was about to burst through. Free kick Everton but the home fans think there should have been a red card for the visitors too.

Andros Townsend's free kick hits the top of the wall.

  18. Postpublished at 21:37 Greenwich Mean Time 1 December 2021

    Aston Villa 1-2 Man City

One thing is for sure, the Premier League's top three sides are going to have to seriously work for their wins tonight. Villa are very much in this game. The City defence having to graft.

  19. goal

GOAL - Watford 1-2 Chelseapublished at 21:37 Greenwich Mean Time 1 December 2021

    Hakim Ziyech (72 mins)

Chelsea take the lead. Mason Mount drills in a low cross and Hakim Ziyech meets it first time with a good finish which flies just over the keeper's gloves.

  20. FULL-TIMEpublished at 21:36 Greenwich Mean Time 1 December 2021

    Southampton 2-2 Leicester

An entertaining game ends in a draw. Southampton were the better side in the first half, Leicester dominated after the break.

The Foxes had the better chances.
