  1. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 21:05 Greenwich Mean Time 1 December 2021

    Southampton 2-2 Leicester

Armando Broja, one of my more mystifying fantasy football signings, replaces Nathan Tella up front for Southampton.

  2. Postpublished at 21:05 Greenwich Mean Time 1 December 2021

    West Ham 1-0 Brighton

The ball just keeps coming back every time West Ham clear. They can't make it stick up top.

For all their territory and possession, Albion aren't testing Fabianski.

  3. Postpublished at 21:04 Greenwich Mean Time 1 December 2021

    Southampton 2-2 Leicester

Harvey Barnes crosses and Jamie Vardy heads wide. Only his 15th touch of the game.

  4. Postpublished at 21:04 Greenwich Mean Time 1 December 2021

    West Ham 1-0 Brighton

Around 15 minutes to go here. Brighton are the bigger threat. West Ham have gone into containment mode.

  5. HALF-TIMEpublished at 21:03 Greenwich Mean Time 1 December 2021

    Everton 1-2 Liverpool

A hugely entertaining derby ends with Liverpool with their noses in front at the break.

  6. HALF-TIMEpublished at 21:03 Greenwich Mean Time 1 December 2021

City in complete control. They've dealt a cold dose of Premier League reality to Steven Gerrard here.

ReturnOfTheFisherman: Absolute world class finish by Bernardo Silva

Liz Tray: That is a phenomenal goal from Bernardo. Perfect in every way. We win the ball back cleverly, play it forward stylishly, break quickly, flawless cross and one of the best volleys you will see this season. Goal of the month? Easy.

Andy Bowater: What a goal, sheer class

    Aston Villa 0-2 Man City

I'm still purring about that finish from Bernardo Silva. Perfectly executed volley from a wonderful player.

  9. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 21:02 Greenwich Mean Time 1 December 2021

    West Ham 1-0 Brighton

    Close!

Adam Lallana fires just wide for Albion, who are not going away.

Shortly afterwards, Tariq Lamptey comes on for Joel Veltman. He was brilliant against Leeds on Saturday. Can he get his side something from this?

  11. Postpublished at 21:01 Greenwich Mean Time 1 December 2021

    Everton 1-2 Liverpool

As ever, Liverpool look capable of scoring out of nothing as Ben Godfrey heads away Sadio Mane's header in front of the Everton goal.

A minute to go before half time.

  15. Postpublished at 20:59 Greenwich Mean Time 1 December 2021

    Everton 1-2 Liverpool

    Phil McNulty
BBC Sport chief football writer at Goodison Park

A mood-changer. Suddenly Everton fans see light at the end of what has been a very dark tunnel. Just need to keep their heads otherwise Liverpool are poised to punish them again. We have a game.

  17. Postpublished at 20:59 Greenwich Mean Time 1 December 2021

    Everton 1-2 Liverpool

That Everton goal is their first in the Premier League in a month. They are suddenly looking in the mood for more as they push for an equaliser with half time approaching.

  18. Postpublished at 20:58 Greenwich Mean Time 1 December 2021

    Everton 1-2 Liverpool

    Alan Hutton
Former Scotland defender on BBC Radio 5 Live

This is what it's all about - I know Jurgen Klopp said before the game he doesn't like the intensity but this is a derby. This is what people look out for in their calendar - the intensity is going to be high, it's all part of it.

  19. goal

GOAL - Aston Villa 0-2 Man Citypublished at 20:58 Greenwich Mean Time 1 December 2021

    Bernardo Silva

    That is just wonderful!

Manchester City ruthlessly take Villa apart with a lightning break that sees the ball fed down the right for Gabriel Jesus. He looks up, spots Bernardo Silva free in the middle and finds him with a pinpoint cross.

The real glory moment is all the Portuguese's though. He volleys first time and past Emi Martinez.

    Brilliant. Just brilliant.

Hwang Hee-Chan runs at the Burnley defence before fizzing a low effort just wide of the far post.

Bruno Lage is up on his feet and urging the home crowd to raise their voices and push the home side on.
