Watford were very unlucky against Chelsea in midweek.
The very least they deserved was a point, if not all three. But now they have to try to raise their game again, against the defending champions.
I just don't think it's possible to do that twice in the space of four days. Manchester City had to hold on for their win at Aston Villa on Wednesday but they can defend well when they have to, and we know how good they are going forward.
Prediction: 0-3
FT: Southampton 1-1 Brighton
Southampton
Southampton boss Ralph Hasenhuttl: "We concede a goal because our keeper couldn’t play normally, so we should say that he has a hamstring injury. This is horrible, it’s a mistake we cannot make. It kills you. At the end they’re celebrating and it feels like a defeat.
"Alex McCarthy couldn’t kick the ball anymore. Maybe he doesn’t say anything, I can’t change him.
"Finally this is not working. We had one more substitution to do. This is absolutely not optimal.
"We created a lot, we played well, got the first goal. The second half we didn’t give them a lot of chances. Then, 10 minutes in extra time, if you’re only one up you can always concede. This is absolutely hurting.
"We showed a good performance. In the end it’s going to be a bit hectic, nervous, the overtime can kill you.
"You think we can dominate a team for 90 minutes in the Premier League? I mean, we are Southampton FC. It’s not always possible for us to play like this for 90 minutes.
"We had a good chance to win it, we didn’t, we keep on going."
Spanish La Liga
Barcelona have lost for the first time under Xavi, a 1-0 home defeat by Real Betis.
Betis are up to third, while Barca remain seventh in La Liga.
Watford v Man City (17:30 GMT)
Only Mohamed Salah (13 goals and nine assists) has been directly involved in more Premier League goals this season than Emmanuel Dennis (six goals and five assists).

Southampton
Southampton forward Armando Broja: "That is a huge blow for us. The game was going our way, we dominated in the first half and second half. To concede like that right at the end was really disappointing.
"It’s a huge blow and it’s not the best feeling. But we’ll keep going.
"We focus on game by game, the performances of the team. It’s disappointing to concede in the last kick of the game. We controlled the game before that.
"We’ll keep going as a team, we’ve got good morale, we’ll keep pushing forward. We’ll keep our spirits high.
"I think I could have had a few more goals and on another day I could have scored them. I’ll keep working on that and developing.
"We’ve got a good team spirit and morale, we’re a good group of boys."
FT: Newcastle 1-0 Burnley
Burnley
Burnley defender James Tarkowski: "It is still early season. We are not getting too caught up in a relegation battle. It was a tight game with one minor mistake. We are half a yard from scoring in a decent performance. We didn't get points but the performance was there.
"We want more points on the board but performances have been solid in recent weeks. We will pick up points if we keep playing like that.
"If the ref gives a foul for the goal I don't think many people complain. It is what it is. For all their forward players, we dealt with it quite well.
"At this level it is all about fine margins. You get punished for mistakes. We need to start putting points on the board but we are pleased with how we are playing. It is an important part of the year. A good run and wins and you can get yourself out of it."
FT: Southampton 1-1 Brighton
Brighton & Hove Albion
Brighton forward Neal Maupay: "Our performance today wasn’t top, we struggled. We have one big strength this season, which is that we never give up.
"We couldn’t match their intensity in the first half, they were winning every 50-50. We tried to fix that in the second half.
"This was our third game in a week, we’ve had three injuries, too. Sometimes you can’t win, but it’s good to not lose.
"I was very, very happy with the goal. It’s good to score in the last minute, but I should have scored earlier. Maybe we could have won the game, but I’m still happy with the goal."
On his celebration
"The fans were on me, so when I scored I had to give them some back. It’s good to have a bit of fun with them, we’ve missed them over the last couple of years, it’s good to have them back."
On injuries
"We can’t feel sorry for ourselves, we need to be ready because Tottenham, will be ready."
Wolves 0-1 Liverpool

Wolves 0-1 Liverpool
Liverpool
Liverpool striker Divock Origi: "We fought a lot and it was a difficult game against a strong team offensively and defensively. It was about getting the win and it shows our mentality.
"We have the three points which is important to keep the momentum going. Sometimes in games like this you try and try and it does not immediately go in but we have worked on being calm and we have quality offensively.
"He [manager Jurgen Klopp] told us we played a good game and was happy, like the whole dressing room. We came here to win and eventually it happened, that's why we do the hard work in the week for this."
Southampton 1-1 Brighton

BBC Final Score at St Mary's
Remarkable case of history repeating itself twice within four days for Brighton. Not only has Maupay scored two late equalisers to make it 1-1, but Albion have had 10 men on both occasions because of injuries.

BBC Final Score at St James' Park
The atmosphere at the full time whistle was something else at St James’ Park. What a noise.
Huge relief for the home fans but also great pride after a really good second half performance full of heart and desire.
The players did a lap of honour at the end and deserved the applause. There are some really tough fixtures coming up for Newcastle but they finally have some momentum.
FT: Newcastle 1-0 Burnley
Newcastle United
Newcastle forward Callum Wilson: "It has been a tough week mentally, physically and emotionally. It is good to top it with a win.
"I came here to score goals and play for a big club. I want to be that match winner and today it has been that. Since he [Ediie Howe] has come in it has been fantastic. I gave the lads a heads up. Everyone has applied themselves great. It has been a long time coming. Hopefully this is a catalyst for other things.
"Against a team like Burnley it is important you score the first goal. They are hard to break down when they are set. Credit to the lads at the back too. But we can't get carried away.
"It is game by game. There are a lot of points to play for. We knew there would be a turning point. hopefully this is it."

Final Score
Liverpool have nicked it. A brilliant run from Mo Salah into Divock Origi at the end, what a time to get his first of the season. The whole bench jumped up for Liverpool.
You have to feel for Wolves, they've given absolutely everything. Incredible scenes.
Southampton 1-1 Brighton
Brighton are now winless in 12 games in all competitions, although nine of them have been draws.
This will feel like more than a point though.
Southampton 1-1 Brighton
Boos around St Mary's as the final whistle goes.
For the second game in a row Neal Maupay scores a late equaliser for 10-man Brighton.
FT: Newcastle 1-0 Burnley
The roar that greeted that final whistle was huge. A true outpouring of relief and joy.
It wasn't pretty and they still have plenty of work to do, but this is a start.
It's a big blow for Burnley, though. All of the bottom three now have 10 points.
