    Man City 3-0 Leeds

Inches away from a fourth. City are playing some great football - and Leeds just can't deal with their passing.

The ball comes to Phil Foden just outside the box and he drills in a low shot which whizzes just past the bottom corner. Illan Meslier had no chance.

  2. First Ramsey goal since Octoberpublished at 20:41 Greenwich Mean Time 14 December 2021

    Man City 3-0 Leeds

Ruben Dias is the first City player to go into the book for catching former Oxford loanee Tyler Roberts.

  4. 'Why are you still here?'published at 20:40 Greenwich Mean Time 14 December 2021

    Man City 3-0 Leeds

    Chris Bevan
    BBC Sport at Etihad Stadium

The Manchester City fans are letting their Leeds counterparts know exactly how bad their team is... and enquiring, a little more politely, why they haven't gone home yet.

I'm sure a few of the visiting contingent wish they were no longer here, including Marcelo Bielsa and his 11 players on the pitch. They just had a brief respite from the onslaught, but only while their right-back Jamie Shackleton got treatment and, eventually, limped off.

  5. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 38 mins

    Man City 3-0 Leeds

Leeds defender Jamie Shackleton is injured. He hobbles off and Mateusz Klich trots on.

That's their left-back booked and their right-back injured.

  6. 'Basic defensive errors'published at 20:38 Greenwich Mean Time 14 December 2021

    HT: Norwich 0-1 Aston Villa

    Aaron Paul
    BBC 5 Live football reporter

It's not gone to plan for Dean Smith and co. His former side Aston Villa have been dominant in the first half and they haven't needed to press excessively. They have picked the home side off and forced them to make basic defensive errors.

A lot of work to do for Dean Smith as his former side have dominated against his current one.

Villa lead after a fine individual run from Jacob Ramsey, who collected the ball on the halfway line before sprinting at the home defence and finishing superbly past Tim Krul.

A smattering of boos from the Norwich fans as Steven Gerrard's team deservedly lead at the break.

  8. Postpublished at 20:36 Greenwich Mean Time 14 December 2021

    Man City 3-0 Leeds

That was Kevin de Bruyne's first goal in almost two months.

Jack Grealish hadn't scored for City in three months.

City midfielders finding a goalscoring touch will be worrying to their rivals.

    Kevin de Bruyne (32 mins)

    It's a City masterclass.

Phil Foden finds Rodri, who plays in Kevin de Bruyne. The Belgian is six yards out, at a bit of an angle, and he confidently drills a shot just over Illan Meslier.

  10. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 20:32 Greenwich Mean Time 14 December 2021

    Norwich 0-1 Aston Villa

And Ozan Kabak goes off for Norwich, injured, with Sam Byram coming on.

  11. VAR

    Man City 2-0 Leeds

There is a VAR check to see if Oleksandr Zinchenko handled the ball in his box as he and Raphinha chased for the same ball.

The decision is no penalty. It wasn't even in the box anyway, replays showed. Or a handball.

  12. Postpublished at 20:30 Greenwich Mean Time 14 December 2021

    Norwich 0-1 Aston Villa

Villa are heading into the top half as it stands. The only surprise is it's still only 1-0. Villa very much on top in East Anglia.

Norwich have a problem too as central defender Ozan Kabak has gone down, holding his left ankle.

    Man City 2-0 Leeds

Bernardo Silva against LeedsImage source, PA Media

Another nice City move with some lovely skill from Bernardo Silva ends with Kevin de Bruyne hammering a shot in from 25 yards but it's straight at the keeper.

    That's 10-0 on shots.

  14. Postpublished at 20:27 Greenwich Mean Time 14 December 2021

    Man City 2-0 Leeds

City's second corner of the game is their first not to produce a goal, as the move ends with Kevin de Bruyne's cross from deep sailing over everyone.

  15. Postpublished at 20:26 Greenwich Mean Time 14 December 2021

    Norwich 0-1 Aston Villa

Aston Villa are pushing for a second. Jacob Ramsey already has one goal and has a chance for another. He is found at the edge of the area and looks to fade one into the far corner.

He doesn't get the best connection and is instead heading towards Ollie Watkins, but a vital interception from Brandon Williams denies the striker a back-post tap-in.

  16. Postpublished at 20:26 Greenwich Mean Time 14 December 2021

    Man City 2-0 Leeds

This is Leeds' first attack almost and it ends with Daniel James' cross being blocked. So barely an attack.

City break and Phil Foden's cross is deflected behind for a corner.

  17. Guardiola breaks Klopp recordpublished at 20:24 Greenwich Mean Time 14 December 2021

    Man City 2-0 Leeds

Pep Guardiola's Manchester City have scored their 500th Premier League goal (and then their 501st) in their 207th match under Guardiola.

    That is a new record.

Jurgen Klopp's Liverpool needed 234 Premier League games to reach 500 goals, which was the best before today.

  18. YELLOW CARDpublished at 20:20 Greenwich Mean Time 14 December 2021

    Man City 2-0 Leeds

Junior Firpo can't catch Riyad Mahrez so grabs his arm. Yellow card. Just what Leeds need from one of their defenders.

  19. goal

GOAL - Norwich 0-1 Aston Villapublished at 35 mins

    Jacob Ramsey

Jacob Ramsey scored against NorwichImage source, Reuters

A brilliant goal from Jacob Ramsey. The ball is played into Ollie Watkins on the halfway line and he is clattered from behind moments after laying the ball off to Ramsey.

With no help, Ramsey runs at the home defence on and on, into the penalty area, he then shifts the ball on to his left foot and strikes past Tim Krul.

    Villa deservedly lead. Lovely goal.

  20. Postpublished at 20:19 Greenwich Mean Time 14 December 2021

    Man City 2-0 Leeds

Riyad Mahrez blasts a low cross in which Kevin de Bruyne can't direct towards goal so he just stubs it out of play.

This could be any score. Well not 0-0 or 1-0.
