The majority of Villa attacks are coming down their right wing. Once again, Emiliano Buendia is the conductor.

He tries to slide in the overlapping Matty Cash but Tim Krul is alert to the danger and off his line rapidly to gather the Buendia through ball.

Jack Grealish ghosts into the box and has a shot blocked. That's City eighth shot of the game. Seventeen minutes gone.

Well, City boss Pep Guardiola did say before the game that he always enjoys watching Leeds. I'm not sure their manager and Pep's mentor, Marcelo Bielsa, would say the same at the moment... the visitors are struggling to even put a pass together, let alone get out of their half.

That was unsurprisingly Jack Grealish's first headed goal in the Premier League.

Teemu Pukki is very lucky. Norwich are trying to defend a Douglas Luiz corner from the right and Pukki, with both arms around Ezri Konsa, rugby tackles his opponent to the ground. Pukki gets away with it though and no penalty is given.

Aymeric Laporte volleys wide from the edge of the box. He was caught by Junior Firpo, who was also going for the ball. No penalty is the call.

Emiliano Buendia plays in an onside Matty Cash on the right and he fires in a low cross, looking for Ashley Young at the near post.

But some excellent defending from Ozan Kabak, sliding in front of Young, clears the danger.

This could get ugly for Leeds. City cut through them again - far too easily - and Kevin de Bruyne's shot is blocked for a corner.

Leeds kind of half-clear the corner. Actually no, they haven't...

A wonderful reverse ball from Billy Gilmour and it finds Teemu Pukki in the penalty area, but he makes a mess of his feet, gets the ball stuck under them, and the chance evaporates for Norwich.

City's biggest chance yet - and it was almost a gift. It's a borderline sitter from Bernardo Silva.

Diego Llorente gives the ball to Rodri, who finds Phil Foden. He picks out Kevin de Bruyne in the box and the Belgian lays it off for Bernardo, who slots wide from eight yards out.

Norwich looking a bit fragile at the back. They know all about the skill of Emiliano Buendia and he is causing them problems, twice having crosses blocked from the right.

The pressure leads to another corner, but, once again, Douglas Luiz's delivery is not as good as it should be and it is wasted.

Luiz then has a shot charged down and it falls to Matt Targett, whose ambitious volley from 18 yards out is over the crossbar.

It's all City so far. Kevin de Bruyne's through ball almost finds Jack Grealish in the box. City players seemingly taking it in turns to be the centre forward.

Now Jack Grealish goes close from outside the box as he drills in a low bouncing shot which Illan Meslier spills and gathers, with no City strikers racing in.

Early chance for Manchester City - there is a shout for something in the box - and Phil Foden's shot is blocked.

Norwich pick up their first corner of the match and it is swung in from the left by Billy Gilmour, but superbly headed clear by Tyrone Mings.

It's a fabulous atmosphere here on the banks of the River Wensum in Norfolk. Norwich boss Dean Smith, of course, left Aston Villa 38 days ago but there has been no reception, no songs or singing from Aston Villa fans.
