    West Ham are starting to claw their way back into this and there's a nervous moment for Leeds at the back as Michail Antonio nods the ball down to Jarrod Bowen inside the box but he can't get his shot off before Leeds clear.

    David Moyes prowls his technical area with a scowl on his face. Perhaps West Ham's players have clocked him and finally embark on an attack. Nikola Vlasic finds space down the left but his ball into the box has too much on it for Vladimir Coufal arriving at the far side.

    Trent Alexander-Arnold skips away down the right, cuts inside and has a shot but it's blocked by a sliding Brentford defender.

    It's been pretty relentless from Liverpool so far.

    A pass from halfway finds Dan James 25 yards from goal. He takes a couple of touches before firing just over the bar.

    The hosts are upping the tempo. Nice work from Jordan Henderson on the byline. He cuts it back to Diogo Jota, he controls it and gets a shot off by Pontus Jansson clears desperately. From the corner, Jota heads it over.

    Unsurprisingly, Liverpool are dominating possession. Diogo Jota and Andy Robertson pass it between themselves on the left before it's switched across to Trent Alexander-Arnold.

    Roberto Firmino had made a run in behind but Liverpool are patient, and recycle it again through Fabinho in the middle.

    Leeds keep up the attack as Dan James floats the ball into the box from the right looking for Jack Harrison but it sails over his team-mate's head. The visitors do win a corner, though, as man-of-the-moment Jarrod Bowen knocks it behind but Junior Firpo's header is well over.

    They opt to play it deep though, and Joel Matip can't win a corner at the back post.

    Nice build up by Leeds with quick, intricate passing. The ball is worked into the box for Jack Harrison, who tries to open up a bit of space for himself before shooting but in the end his effort is blocked.

    Expect Liverpool to win comfortably today. Unfortunately for them I'm not sure it matters much at this point. When City have won their last 12 consecutive games and have Southampton, Norwich and Brentford coming talk of a title "race" seems a little wide of the mark.
