And then Mason Mount sends Japhet Tanganga sprawling into the advertising hoardings. Ouch! The Chelsea player didn't do much wrong there, just edged the Spurs defender off balance. Tanganga is up and pats Mount on the back. All is forgiven.

Steven Bergwijn is a real impact, power player. Does he always deliver consistently? Possibly not but he's certainly got the power and pace to turn it on when he wants to.

That's a painful one. Malang Sarr is up on his feet but limping a tad. A Spurs throw is the verdict.

Chelsea 0-0 Tottenham

Malang Sarr looks to be hurt. Matt Doherty does catch him late on the ankle there.

VAR will have a look. The ball was on its way out for a throw-in.

Mason Mount does well to win a corner against Davinson Sanchez, that's Chelsea's third already. But Spurs clear well and Steven Bergwijn goes racing down the left.

That was lovely footwork from Harry Winks to break through the middle, but he never really looked comfortable getting a clean strike on the ball with his weaker foot.

Physically Tottenham look a little bit sharper with their tackles and the way they're getting on the end of loose balls at the moment.

First glimpse of goal for Tottenham and it comes for Harry Winks.

Harry Kane does well to keep the ball on the right before Winks shows quick feet to dart through the middle. It opens up for the midfielder but his left-footed shot from outside the box is well gathered by Kepa Arrizabalaga.

It looked like a simple catch for the Spurs captain, but he opts to fist the dipping effort away.

Tottenham will be relieved to just get their foot on the ball for a moment, and a neat turn by Harry Kane in midfield wins his side a free-kick.

Eric Dier goes on a marauding run of his own before losing the ball on the edge of the Chelsea box and bundling over Thiago Silva in return.

Nice football from Chelsea. They're cutting through the Spurs midfield at the moment and Ryan Sessegnon has to turn it behind to stop Mason Mount getting in.

Thiaga Silva rises highest to meet the corner but can only head over the bar.

Hakim Ziyech is picking up dangerous positions and wins a corner.

Hugo Lloris greatfully gathers and tries to release Steven Bergwijn with a long boot forward.

Eric Dier sprays a long, ranging ball out to Ryan Sessegnon on the left but he can't quite get it under control. And then Chelsea come back at their visitors again...

Harry Kane looks to find Steven Bergwijn but the pass is slightly overhit and Antonio Rudiger can accelerate to beat the Spurs man to the ball.

Chelsea work it out to Hakim Ziyech at the other end and he picks out Callum Hudson-Odoi at the back post, but he can only nod wide.

A warning sign for Tottenham, who shouldn't need one given their awful start here in the Carabao Cup that pretty much cost Antonio Conte's side the tie.

Stamford Bridge is bouncing.

And there's an early chance for Romelu Lukaku! He pulls off his marker in the box to collect Mason Mount's bouncing delivery but can only hook over the crossbar.

Right then, away we go for the fourth meeting between these sides this season!

Crystal Palace

Crystal Palace boss Patrick Vieira speaking to BBC: "We knew that they are a really good side, we knew what to expect. In the first half they were by far the better side. It was really difficult for us. The tempo was all about them, we couldn't find a way to put pressure on them.

"We came back in the second half, we found ways to put them under pressure. They dropped off physically and we got a goal and got into the game. We had the momentum and the tempo.

"Then there was the penalty decision. The wrong decision by the referee had a massive impact on the game. You should ask the referee to talk to you and explain the decision himself.

"I think [Diogo] Jota was really smart. Football is all about contact. We have meetings with the referees and they tell us football is about contact and that contact is part of the game. And now they've got it wrong. I'm really frustrated by the decision. I have seen it many times, it is never a penalty.

"When we scored, the game was there for us to go and try and get that draw. But the referee killed our legs today."
