    The Black Cats go top of the League One table and end the year on a high after Ross Stewart bags a hat-trick in their hammering of Sheffield Wednesday.

    Well that was extraordinary.

    City went ahead very early through Alex Scott, had chances to extend the lead.

    Then conceded a silly penalty on the stroke of half-time that gave Charlie Austin the chance to level.

    Andy King's red card left City with 10 men for 35 minutes but they weren't far from holding on.

    Only for Yoann Barbet to stoop late and earn QPR a first win in three.

    Derby see out five minutes of stoppage time for a third straight win.

    Colin Kazim-Richards five minutes from time earning another three points for the Rams.

    Stoke were uninspiring but Tom Ince levelled with 12 minutes to play after Luke Plange put Derby ahead in the first half.
