Rip-snorting game at Ashton Gate as Bristol City go ahead, go behind and then roar back to win in their first game of 2022 thanks to Andi Weimann's hat-trick.

Weimann capitalised on a shoddy clearance from Bartosz Bialkowski to put the hosts ahead, but a two-goal salvo from Tom Bradshaw and Benik Afobe gave Millwall a half-time lead they deserved from a fine first 45.

Bristol City changed it up after the break with Chris Martin and Han Noah Massengo coming on, and they looked more balanced, effective and positive, and got their reward when Weimann headed in an equaliser and then thrashed home after a scramble for the winner.

It's a first win in four for City, while it's three straight away defeats for Millwall.

Into added time and Millwall are still throwing shots at Bristol City.

George Saville slipped the ball wide to Scott Malone, but his ball in to Benik Afobe sees the ball break off his studs and away from goal.
