    Egypt 0-1 Morocco

It's Morocco who lead at the break, thanks to Sofiane Boufal's sixth-minute penalty, which was awarded after a video assistant referee review with on-pitch official Maguette Ndiaye then changing his mind after seeing it on a pitchside monitor.

Egypt have 45 minutes to save themselves, and need to offer more after the break.

Mohamed Salah remains on corner duty, maybe it'd be better to have him in the box and let someone else take them. His latest effort is gathered by Yassine Bounou, above his head in a packed penalty area.

Good solid, confident keeping from the Moroccan number one.

Morocco have had just the one shot on target, and they're the ones leading. But Egypt themselves have only had two. Mohamed Salah has so far been kept quiet by the Moroccan defence.

It is not just Carlos Queiroz who is unhappy with the officiating - someone who looks like he is part of the Egypt delegation in the stands has just come up to where the BBC World Service commentators are shouting and banging their table.

Arsenal's Mohamed Elneny concedes a foul and rather unwisely argues right in the face of referee Maguette Ndiaye.

Egypt a goal down, so the last thing they need is to go a man down due to a lack of self-control.

Luckily for Elneny, he doesn't talk himself into trouble.

Egypt coach Carlos Queiroz seems to be treading a fine line here. First the match referee spoke to him about what he is shouting from the touchline.

He then left his own technical area and ended up near or in the Morocco one with the fourth official having to persuade him to return the Egypt bench.

The stadium is still only about a third full - but those in here are making a lot of noise - the ubiquitous vuvuzela to the fore of course.

Definitely more Egypt fans in here than anything else being led by a man with a large drum.

There is also a band playing music and dancing as provided by one of the tournament sponsors to try and liven up the atmosphere.

Egypt have a strike at goal from Ayman Ashraf, the man who conceded the penalty, from 25 yards out.

Yassine Bounou in the Morocco goal dives to his left and pushes it away two-handed, although he may have been able to have held on to it.

But, nevertheless, it stays out and that's the main thing. Better from Egypt though.
