There's not much between the sides. Is there a hero out there? Is there a mistake? That is what happens in tense games like these. How focused can these players be in the remaining 25 minutes?

It is very tight and very nervy as we enter the latter stages of the second half.

Senegal make a double change as Famara Diedhiou is replaced by Watford striker Ismaila Sarr while Pape Gueye replaces Cheikhou Kouyate.

Changes were certainly needed. Senegal haven't troubled Farid Ouedraogo in the Burkina Faso goal enough.

Things are a bit scrappy at the moment with neither side able to put together much in the way of flowing moves. Senegal have a free kick but Saliou Ciss' ball into the box is headed away.

Burkina Faso are having to make another enforced change because Cyrille Bayala goes off injured. He is replaced by Zakaria Sanogo.

Senegal coach Aliou Cisse seems to have told his team to keep hold of the ball as much as possible - they are determined to pass their way upfield even if that means passing it across the backline under pressure from Burkina Faso.

You can see why this Senegal back five has only been breached once. So sound defensively, so assured. And if you do get past the back-four, there is one of the best goalkeepers in the world to beat.

A scare for Senegal as Bertrand Traore chases a ball over the top but Kalidou Koulibaly gets back superbly to hook the ball back onto Traore's face and out for a goalkick.

Brilliant from Koulibaly. That was a real chance for Burkina Faso.

Burkina Faso's manager is fuming on the touchline after a poor final ball brings a disappointing end to a promising break.

Sadio Mane and Saliou Ciss combine on the left but the latter's ball into the box is a poor one.

Mane urges his team-mate to calm it down and take his time, delivery had to be better.

PSG defender Abdou Diallo is across to deal with the danger from another quick Burkina Faso break, with Bertrand Traore hoping to force his way through.

We had plenty of drama in the first half, but will the second deliver the goals?

Some of the survivors from the Olembe Stadium tragedy were at Cameroon training this evening along with Samuel Eto’o.

Eight people lost their lives outside the stadium as people tried to get in to see hosts Cameroon against Comoros in the last 16 of the Africa Cup of Nations on 24 January – the 38 who were injured have all now been released from hospital.
