  6. Hot start in Stokepublished at 15:39 Greenwich Mean Time 22 January 2022

    Stoke City 1-2 Fulham

    Ged Scott
BBC Sport at the bet365 Stadium

It's a very, very cold day in Stoke - and anyone topping up their system with a late pre-match hot drink would have missed an extraordinary start.

Two goals inside the first 90 seconds.

D'Margio Wright-Phillips' clinically-taken first-ever goal in professional football, leading for a near-post right-foot volley, would have warmed many, many more than just his dad and grandad.

Yet the buzz of putting his side in front lasted less than a minute for the youngster when Rodrigo Muniz found the merest of gaps to lash home an equally stunning equaliser into the top right corner..

Needless to say the next half hour rather failed to match that intro . . . until Stoke's rather scrappy second for Muniz. A goal so underwhelming, as it initially came back off the post, that it was fully two seconds before the Fulham fans at the other end realised that it had actually gone in and started cheering.

    West Brom 0-0 Peterborough.

Things have slowed down at the Hawthorns and Peterborough are starting to get into this game a bit more.

Still a real lack of chances in the West Midlands though.

    Coventry City 0-1 QPR

QPR close to doubling their lead.

Albert Adomah is inches away from heading in Chris Willock's cross at the back post.

Just before that Jamie Allen fired narrowly wide as he tried to pull the hosts level.

  12. Postpublished at 15:33 Greenwich Mean Time 22 January 2022

    Sheffield United 0-0 Luton

Not too much to report from this one so far.

This is Sheffield United's first home game in 55 days because of postponements.

Obviously no defending taking place in this match today...

It's a goalkeeping howler though from Luke Southwood that sees Huddersfield retake the lead almost immediately.

He fails to hang on to the ball from Sorba Thomas' free-kick and Danny Ward gleefully stabs it home for his second of the game already.

Forest Green celebrateImage source, Rex Features

The League Two leaders are ahead!

Heavy fog prevented Forest Green from continuing their winning form midweek, but a Morgan Feeney own goal has them in front at home to Carlisle.

Rhys Oates must have had his porridge this morning - the Mansfield forward scored in the first minute at Barrow - only for the hosts to level the match through a James Jones header.

Elsewhere, Jack Muldoon has put Harrogate 1-0 up at home to Oldham.

  20. GREAT SAVE!published at 15:23 Greenwich Mean Time 22 January 2022

    Blackpool 0-0 Millwall

Superb stop by Millwall keeper Bartosz Bialkowski.

Blackpool's Josh Bowler finds a pocket of space and his shot is wickedly deflected, but Bialkowski somehow manages to keep it out with his feet.

    Closest we've come.
