    Lyndon Dykes was close to a second for QPR but Luke Southwood made a smart save to turn the ball wide.

    Chris Willock also went close, curling off target after a direct run.

    Reading had a free-kick chance which their key playmaker John Swift was behind, but his effort breezed over.

    MK Dons have taken the lead in the Buckinghamshire derby away to Wycombe with Scott Twine grabbing the opener.

    Third-placed Rotherham have opened the scoring away to relegation-threatened Crewe through Michael Smith.

    South Yorkshire rivals Sheffield Wednesday are also one in front at home to Ipswich, Marvin Johnson with that one.

    There's been another goal in South Yorkshire with lowly Doncaster scoring a shock goal at home to Plymouth courtesy of Branden Horton.

    Elsewhere struggling Gillingham find themselves three behind at home to Oxford thanks to goals from from Billy Bodin, a Cameron Brannagan penalty and Matty Taylor and Morecambe have taken the lead away to Accrington in the Lancashire derby through Jonah Ayunga.

    Wimbledon are also in front at home to Shrewsbury after Ayoub Assal's early goal.
