Speaking to BBC Scotland, Ayr United manager Jim Duffy has said: "You're never happy with a draw, especially at home. However, with how the game went I suppose a point is a fair result.
"I think we had the best chances in the second half to win all three points but we didn't take them.
"Overall, it was a tough match, and a 1-1 draw was probably a fair result."
