Taking Tavares off this early is a huge step in the right direction for Arteta in his management career. At the start of the season Arteta wouldn't have had the guts or guile to tweak the tactics/set up mid match if it wasn't working. Let's hope Arsenal's left side firms up as it's been a nervy watch thus far.

Steve Cooper is shouting orders from the touchline as he looks to guide his side through to half-time.

That's very late from Eddie Nketiah, who slides in and wipes out Brice Samba's standing leg as the Forest goalkeeper clears the ball. As clear a free-kick as you'll ever see.

It's been interesting but not with opportunities in front of goal. I think Forest will be delighted against an Arsenal side that have not tested them out. The longer it goes on, confidence will build for Forest.

That yellow card was ridiculous, Saka looked like he took 10 yards just to think about diving.

Arteta knows what he wants from his players, and Tavares has been a bit sloppy.

There's a little strop going on here from Nuno Tavares. As he came off he threw his gloves down. He's not very happy. Arteta has still not looked at him.

Better from Arsenal. Sambi Lokonga takes aim and his shot is deflected wide for a corner. Nothing comes of the initial set-piece, but the Gunners will have another chance...

Its better from Arsenal, there's more intent. Saka can be really dangerous down the right side with that left foot of his.

It's all very pedestrian from Arsenal, but Bukayo Saka sparks the Gunners into life as he cuts inside from the right. He tees up Martin Odegaard on the edge of the penalty area but the Norwegian is quickly closed down.
