  1. 'We played one of our best games'published at 16:37 Greenwich Mean Time 13 February 2022

    FT: Tottenham 0-2 Wolves

    Tottenham Hotspur

Tottenham boss Antonio Conte speaking to Sky Sports: "It is very difficult today, at the end it was one of the best games we played, we created many chances to score and we had the possession but for sure it is very difficult to explain the way we started - I think the two goals are very difficult to comment.

"After the game against Southampton I said this is part of the process but we know very well that it is not easy when you start the game in this way, because when you go 2-0 down it is not simple and I have nothing to tell about the commitment of the players because until the end we pushed and tried to score.

"We created chances. But in the end we are talking about another defeat and we have to continue to work and to know that it won't be easy for us.

"I am telling you from my arrival that we have to struggle every game, I was very clear after three weeks about my opinion and we have to continue to work. There are a lot of jobs to do but it is not simple because the environment is used to play for Champions League, Europa League, but everyone maybe has to realise something has changed and you have to try to work to build again and we have to know this.

"I am trying with my players to do everything to improve the situaiton but the enviornment has to understand which is our position in this moment.

"When you lose two games in a row at home and a previous game against Chelsea, a team that wants to fight for the Champions League is impossible.

"We have to fight and try to build something important to improve the situation but it is important to know the situation because otherwise maybe our fans could be disappointed and instead they have to try and push us and stay behind us - these players need to feel the rigth atmosphere and not pressure about a target that at this moment you can't think. This is my evaluation."

  4. 'We got it over the line'published at 16:31 Greenwich Mean Time 13 February 2022

    FT: Burnley 0-1 Liverpool

    Liverpool

Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp, speaking to MOTD: "So difficult to play here in general but today especially because of the circumstances. The wind came from all directions and the boys had to play superbly to judge that. They played the circumstances well.

"Burnley had their moments but Alisson was there. Many chances were offside but it still feels bad, especially with the delayed offside flag.

"We scored our goal and we controlled the game from a specific point. It was really important with our schedule. We brought it over the line and all good.

"I am really happy. Needed and delivered. They are in a fight for survival and that is the mentality we have to match and that is what we did.

"Timing, top Fab in that moment. He was there again after the save, a great goal in a very difficult game. All good, let's keep going.

"It is nine points and then it is 12 points because most of the time they play before us. Next game is Leeds at home and a fight for survival as well. These are really difficult and that is why we don't think about it."

  6. KICK-OFFpublished at 16:30 Greenwich Mean Time 13 February 2022

The final Premier League game of the day...is under way.

  7. 'We wouldn't have won this earlier in the season'published at 16:29 Greenwich Mean Time 13 February 2022

    FT: Newcastle 1-0 Aston Villa

    Newcastle United

Newcastle boss Eddie Howe, speaking to MOTD: "Three more points feels good from where we have come. But even in this good moment we are very calm but very pleased.

"We didn't give up too many chances to Aston Villa. It was a tight game and in weeks gone by we wouldn't have won this game. There is still a heck of a long way to go.

"There are lots of things we can improve. We defended heroically at times but I feel we have a lot to do still. We know we are in the early stages but we're pleased with progress we are making.

"The crowd has been like this with team and me from the moment I came in. I can't thank them enough."

  8. 'We didn't take our chances'published at 16:26 Greenwich Mean Time 13 February 2022

    FT: Burnley 0-1 Liverpool

    Burnley

Burnley boss Sean Dyche speaking to MOTD: "Frustrating one from our point of view. We were very good throughout, particularly first half.

"That was a good performance against top class opposition but we didn't take our chances.

"I was pleased with the performance today. Sometimes you have to forget where you are in the table because that performance will lead to more.

"We are getting players fit. Wout has done amazingly with the amount of miles he has got in. Dwight McNeil came on and affected the game. They had fewer chances against us than they had previously.

"Ashley Barnes should not have been out there but we are stretched. They are all trying to get fit and we are just hopeful they do get fit.

"You need to get rewards when you play like this and that is the bit that is missing. We have got to start doing that. The mentality was right today and the performance was right."

  9. 'We overcame a banana skin'published at 16:23 Greenwich Mean Time 13 February 2022

    FT: Burnley 0-1 Liverpool

    Liverpool

Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp, speaking to Sky Sports: "A perfect afternoon. Raining and windy. We scored from a set piece and it was a brilliant goal to be honest, a counter pressing goal.

"Everything today was set up to be a banana skin for us. The balls in the air were so tricky to defend because the wind came from all directions. We played the circumstances rather than suffered from them.

"Most of their chances were offside but of course they had their moments, that is clear. They have quality but we dealt with it pretty well.

"We like each other, we respect each other. We have to work incredibly hard and that is what the boys did. We made our shirts dirty. I am really happy because I know how difficult it is to come here. Absolutely satisfied."

  10. 'We are dreaming big'published at 16:19 Greenwich Mean Time 13 February 2022

    FT: Tottenham 0-2 Wolves

    Wolves

Wolves striker Raul Jimenez, speaking to Sky Sports: "It is always good to bounce back after a defeat at home. We knew this was a big opportunity for us to get back and continue doing what we know how to do. We came to play our game and we deserve the win.

"It was always the plan to come here and do our game with the ball and make them run. We knew we would have opportunities. We needed to capitalise and score the goals.

"We knew sometimes they concede goals for losing ball when they are doing their game. We had those opportunities. We had troubles this season scoring but today we did what we wanted. We are always confidence. We know what we can do. We are in a good time and we can keep improving and go higher in the table. We are dreaming big."

  17. 'A nice three points'published at 16:04 Greenwich Mean Time 13 February 2022

    FT: Burnley 0-1 Liverpool

    Liverpool

Liverpool goalscorer Fabinho: "It is always hard to play here. Burnley is a tough place to come. Sometimes we forget to play football a little bit because we want to fight for the second balls but when we had the ball on the ground we created chances.

"We didn't score the second goal but defensively the team was very good today. A nice three points."

On scoring a fifth goal in seven games: "Yeah, really impressive! I always try to help the team. When you score goals you are always confident the ball will come to yo. I always try to be ready and try to follow every ball, go for first balls and second balls. One more goal!"

Can you catch Man City? "We have to think game after game. We play every three days with other competitions as well. Everyone has to be ready, we don't have injured players and that is good for us.

"We have to try to win every game and before we next play them (Manchester City) we have the chance to be next to them.
