    Liverpool v Norwich (15:00 GMT)

Liverpool are unbeaten in 15 Premier League home games, winning the last six in a row by an aggregate score of 17-1.

They are undefeated in 28 Premier League matches kicking off at 3pm on a Saturday since a 2-0 loss at Hull City in February 2017.

The Reds are unbeaten in the past 15 Premier League meetings with Norwich, winning 13 and scoring 47 goals.

  2. 'As bad as we've played all season'published at 14:57 Greenwich Mean Time 19 February 2022

    FT: West Ham 1-1 Newcastle

    West Ham United

West Ham manager David Moyes, speaking to BT Sport: “I’m thrilled with a point. It might be as bad as we’ve played this season.

“I’ve had words with the players on other days. I didn’t think it was needed today. Our levels need to come back up. I think if we improve individually, we’ll improve as a team.

“I didn’t take anything else away from the game today. Intensity we’ve got and I don’t think physicality has been a problem. Our ball retention, turnovers, not playing as well with the ball as we have done, not being as clinical in small moments – those things would come to mind before the physical side of things.

On Newcastle's equaliser: “I don’t know how many people missed it. We didn’t deal with the ball into the box at all well.”

On the race for the top four: “I can’t say what the other teams are doing. All I can hope is that we keep picking points up. We got a point out of it today. We’ll take that and move on, but individually we’ll have to start stepping up to the mark.”

    Liverpool v Norwich (15:00 GMT)

Norwich could win back-to-back Premier League away games for the first time since January 2012.

However, their only victory in 25 top-flight away fixtures against sides in the top three was by 3-2 at Manchester City on the final day of 2012-13.

They have lost all eight matches versus top-six sides this season, conceding 28 goals and failing to score themselves.

    Liverpool v Norwich (15:00 GMT)

    Mark Lawrenson
    BBC football expert

As expected, Norwich's good little run was ended by Manchester City last week. Now they head for Anfield and it is obviously going to be another difficult day for them.

Liverpool are going to be hard to stop. Even if he rotates his team, they should win comfortably.

    Prediction: 3-0

    Southampton v Everton (15:00 GMT)

    Everton

Everton manager Frank Lampard: "We come to a team in really good form. People talk about the Goodison Park roar, we don't have that backing today so we have to find a way ourselves to improve our away form.

"I can only be thankful and happy the way the players have responded [since arriving].

"You could feel a lack of confidence but in terms of atmosphere, focus and in training the players have been great. There is a lot of work to be done but I am happy to this point.

"Southampton are a high-pressure team. Their physical stats are up there with the best in the league and we have to try and find some weaknesses. They are playing well and confident but we have to back ourselves to match up to them."

  6. 'We are still not comfortable'published at 14:53 Greenwich Mean Time 19 February 2022

    FT: West Ham 1-1 Newcastle

    Newcastle United

Newcastle midfielder Jonjo Shelvey speaking to Match of the Day: "We thought they were there for the taking but we have to take the positives, a point is a good outcome, but there is disappointment we didn't take all three. We move on and look to get three points at Brentford.

"We are on the front foot more and there is a real togetherness in our play, there is a togetherness around the city and a belief in the dressing room. I am sure we will climb the table.

"The sessions are long, intense, but they benefit every one of us. We have to maintain it and keep listening to the gaffer and we will get there.

"We are still not comfortable, still in the battle, but we have put ourselves in a better position in the last three weeks and we have to maintain that form now."

On having to take the coach down because of the storm: "I am used to it, having been at Charlton we did those long bus journeys, we got there for dinner, did our treatments and then bed - it didn't help having a 12:30 kick-off but you wouldn't have known it."

Burnley are winless in 12 matches in all competitions, equalling their worst run under Sean Dyche. The last time they had a longer streak was 19 games from December 2006 to March 2007.

They are one of just two teams in England's top four divisions without an away league win this season, along with Barnsley in the Championship.

    Brighton v Burnley (15:00 GMT)

    Mark Lawrenson
    BBC football expert

I watched Brighton at Old Trafford on Tuesday and they played really well - they were unlucky not to get anything out of Manchester United.

Their task on Saturday will be to break down Burnley, and Graham Potter's side don't usually score many goals. One might be enough for them this time because I am not expecting a thriller.

Burnley were only edged out by Liverpool last weekend and got three draws in a row before that, including picking up a point against Arsenal and Manchester United.

In isolation those results would be great but Burnley desperately need to win a game - and it's a big ask for them to start here.

The Clarets have got the worst away record in the top flight anyway and, if their new striker Wout Weghorst is out injured, then that is hardly going to help.

    Prediction: 1-0

  10. 'A point was probably fair'published at 14:51 Greenwich Mean Time 19 February 2022

    FT: West Ham 1-1 Newcastle

    West Ham United

West Ham defender Craig Dawson, speaking to BT Sport: “It was a game of few chances. To take the lead and let is slip just before half-time was disappointing.

“They had a couple of chances and on that occasion we didn’t quite clear our lines. The message at half-time was to try and get at them a little bit more. It’s unlike ourselves, but Newcastle are on a good run. A point was probably fair in the end.

“It’s disappointing to pick up a couple of draws in a row, but we’ll get back to the training ground and see what happens next week.”

  11. 'The confidence is growing'published at 14:51 Greenwich Mean Time 19 February 2022

    West Ham 1-1 Newcastle

    Newcastle United

Newcastle boss Eddie Howe, speaking to Match of th Day: "It was a really good performance for us. A tough ground, we started really well, put them under pressure, got a lot of balls in their box and were disappointed to only get one goal really. West Ham are a top team so are always in the game.

"We deserved it in the opening 45 minutes and it was a great goal for us, we are disappointed with the one we conceded because we know all abot their set-piece threat."

On Joe Willock: "It is very important for him personally and the team, he is a goalscorer, he is a key player for us, it has been coming. His performances have improved week on week - hopefully that is the first of many as our midfield probably hasn't continbuted enough."

Allan Saint-Maximin missing through injury: "He got a kick on his calf last week and it was too sore to play today - it was a late call, we hoped he might make the game but he didn't.

"It gives us more confidence, you saw a resilience, fighting spirit, and a really good mentality from the group - all positives from our perspective but we have to keep showing up and bringing those qualities.

"The unity has been there from day one, the confidence is growing and improving and will only continue on the back of perofrmances like this one."

    Andy Reid
Ex-Republic of Ireland midfielder on BBC Radio 5 Live

I think you probably have to make Arsenal favourites for the top four. You’d expect them to pick up enough points to leapfrog West Ham.

Man United are just so difficult to predict, but they have the players on any given day to win a game of football. Arsenal have to get points on the board.

Decent conditions here in Brighton, although rain is forecast. Only one team has survived Premier League relegation after winning only one of their opening 21 games. That was West Brom in 2005. A huge afternoon for the Clarets here.

Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has been speaking about Virgil van Dijk in his programme notes: "The level Virgil has performed at this season has been incredible. When you factor in what he is returning from it is even more remarkable.

"It was always clear, because the surgery was a complete success, that Virgil would be absolutely fine medium and long term. But the truth is given everything that happened, the level he is at so quickly is a surprise to be honest.

"I'll correct that. It would be a surprise were it not Virgil.

"I only bring this up as I think there is a danger certain players get taken for granted."

    Liverpool v Norwich (15:00 GMT)

    Nigel Reo-Coker
Former West Ham midfielder on BBC Radio 5 Live

With the form Manchester City have been in, all the attention has been on them and rightly so.

Nobody will be happier than Jurgen Klopp, managers don't want a magnifying glass on them. He can get his business done without anybody paying attention and that is exactly what he's done.

He's continued to work in the direction he wants to go in with the club. This is the most talented group he's worked with, so the thing is, how is he going to keep everybody happy?

Everton have wasted years and £s on Hollywood managers and so-so players. With Frank Lampard they have a manager who is passionate, understands the PL and will get the club playing good football again. It's not going to happen overnight, but consistency will come with confidence and patience.

    FT: West Ham 1-1 Newcastle

    Newcastle United

Newcastle manager Eddie Howe, speaking to BT Sport: “I’m satisfied with the point but frustrated it maybe wasn’t more. The way we started the game was excellent. The only disappointment for me was that we only got one goal – there was more in it for us.

“Although we dominated they still had a threat in the game. That’s what West Ham can do to you. We’re disappointed that the free-kick was poorly defended from our perspective. That’s a frustration, but the character and response was there. With the balls we put into the box, it should have been more.”

On Joe Willock: “Last season he scored some crucial goals for the club. This season, since I’ve come in, he’s grown and grown and grown. That goal was coming. I’m really pleased for him because he deserved it today.

On injuries to key players: “It’s frustrating that we’re missing them, but that’s what the squad is for. We need other players to step up. Ryan [Fraser] is another player who I thought was excellent today. He’s another player who’s improving every week.”

  19. Lawro's predictionpublished at 14:44 Greenwich Mean Time 19 February 2022

    Arsenal v Brentford (15:00 GMT)

    Mark Lawrenson
    BBC football expert

Brentford ended their run of five defeats with a draw against Crystal Palace last weekend, but they still badly need a win to stop their slide down the table.

I don't think they will get it at Emirates Stadium though. Arsenal's victory at Wolves last time out, with 10 men, was massive for them. It was a kind of 'us against the world' moment so I can understand why they celebrated it so much.

The Gunners have not been among the goals much recently - Gabriel's winner at Molineux is the only time they have found the net in their past five games - but I think they will find a way through the Bees and get a bit of revenge for their defeat on the opening weekend of the season.

    Prediction: 2-0

Brentford are hoping to become the first promoted side to complete a Premier League double over Arsenal since Blackburn Rovers in 1992-93.

Their only victory in six competitive trips to Arsenal was by 2-0 in the top flight at Highbury in April 1938.
