Marvellous scenes here as Christian Eriksen returns, 259 days after collapsing playing for Denmark against Finland at Euro 2020.

Straight into the action after a standing ovation, understandably a bit over-eager and a little rusty - but what a wonderful sight to see this high-class operator back on the football pitch.

Christian Eriksen has enjoyed a few early touches, he's demanding the ball from his Brentford team-mates.

Eriksen came on to replace Mathias Jensen, who was the player that replaced him following his cardiac arrest while playing for Denmark at Euro 2020.
