    FT: Swansea 1-0 Blackburn

Tell you what, bizarre as that was, I really enjoyed that game!

The Championship is where it's at as far as I'm concerned. Credit to Swansea for holding on. Credit to Blackburn for keeping it interesting!

This is all setting up a cracking end to the season.

    Swansea 1-0 Blackburn

Second-placed Blackburn fail to gain some ground on third-placed Bournemouth, who now have two games in hand on them.

Swansea, despite having Ryan Manning sent off for two yellow cards, somehow hang on to record a massive three points, moving them up to 16th in the Championship table.

One of the most bizarre and lopsided games I've ever seen.

The answer is no. Jan Paul van Hecke heads wide and Swansea win a goal kick.

How on earth are Swansea going to win this?!

John Buckley wins another Blackburn corner as his long-range drive cannons off Ryan Bennett.

Is this the one where they score?

    Four minutes added on.

Scott Wharton gets a head on Ryan Giles' cross but it's straight at Andrew Fisher.

Swansea's fans are in fine voice.

    Swansea 1-0 Blackburn

This is bizarre. Blackburn should be home and dry by now and about 5-1 up.

But it's their inability to score rather than Swansea's defensive capability which is keeping the hosts ahead.

Two more Blackburn corners follow - meaning the visitors are up to 11 corners, now - but Swansea clear.

    Swansea 1-0 Blackburn

Andrew Fisher puts the ball over the bar for yet another Blackburn corner.

Ryan Giles sends it in. Ben Brereton Diaz heads it low and behind and Swansea concede another corner.

It's floated in again, before Scott Wharton eventually picks out Darragh Lenihan who's unmarked AGAIN but his first-time strike goes over the bar.

    Swansea 1-0 Blackburn

    How are Blackburn not level?!

Ryan Giles puts in a sensational curling cross into the box which beats a succession of Swansea defenders but Darragh Lenihan - who's beaten his marker - diverts it high and wide from the far post.

    Swansea 1-0 Blackburn

A succession of balls into the Swansea box follow but Blackburn just can't direct it goalbound.

Jeers go up from the home support, they're hanging on as it stands.

    Swansea 1-0 Blackburn

Yet another Blackburn corner, but this time it's headed away by Korey Smith at the near post.

Sustained Rovers pressure but nothing to show for it. The visitors win another corner soon after but it's dealt with again by Swansea.

Another Blackburn corner sent in by Reda Khadra.

But there's a foul against the visitors as it arrives as Joe Rankin-Costello puts a push in on Swansea keeper Andrew Fisher.

    Swansea 1-0 Blackburn

A player advantage, one of the leading scorers in the Championship on the field and attack after attack in the Swansea end of the field.

But Blackburn cannot find a decent chance on goal at the minute. Just over 10 minutes of normal time remain, but the Swans are holding on at the minute.

  14. Postpublished at 77 mins

    Swansea 1-0 Blackburn

Reda Khadra sends a Blackburn corner into the Swansea box after a brief delay to find a new ball after it went missing following a block from Ryan Giles' attempted cross.

In the end it sails out as Scott Wharton can't quite get on the end of it at the far post.

    Swansea 1-0 Blackburn

Almost every time Blackburn win possession they're on the attack but so far they're having a hard time working through a tough Swansea defence.

Jan Paul van Hecke is forced into trying his luck with a long range drive which goes high and wide, much to the joy of the home supporters.

Tony Mowbray has sent on the cavalry as Blackburn look to take advantage of having the extra man.

Rovers are yet to carve Swansea open in the second period, but it looks like being a long old shift for the home rearguard from here on in.

Only Fulham have scored more goals in the Championship than Blackburn this season, with Ben Brereton Diaz contributing 20 on his own.

The Chilean international has not scored in his last four club appearances - but you sense he might get a chance to change that record here.

Lewis Travis fires low from outside the box after a Blackburn corner is headed away, but his effort sails wide of the mark.
