    Blackburn 0-1 Nott'm Forest

It's a real end to end affair at Ewood Park.

Ben Brereton Diaz raps a shot which Brice Samba gets down to save as Blackburn threaten.

Sam Surridge then slips the ball to Ryan Yates for Forest, but his shot hits the side netting.

Surridge was so close to adding a second earlier, but fired wide after Brennan Johnson was denied by Thomas Kaminski.

    Sheffield United 1-0 West Brom

The Blades still lead 10-man West Brom by that first-half Billy Sharp goal.

If it stays like this, Steve Bruce's Baggies will drop out of the play-off places to eighth and the Blades will move level on points with them a couple of places further back.

    Jaidon Anthony (76 mins)

Jaidon Anthony channels a bit of Ricky Villa circa 1981 to give Bournemouth a third which just eases some of their doubts.

He raced toward the box, picked his way through the slide-tackles and fired past Neil Etheridge.

    Too good from the Cherries.

  4. goal

GOAL: Bristol City 2-1 Readingpublished at 21:18 Greenwich Mean Time 9 February 2022

    John Swift pen (74 mins)

What a big goal that could be for struggling Reading.

John Swift steps up and slots a goal back.

  5. PENALTYpublished at 21:18 Greenwich Mean Time 9 February 2022

    Bristol City 2-0 Reading

    Reading get a spot-kick!

Tom Ince proves too tricky for the home side defence.

    Blackburn 0-1 Nott'm Forest

Blackburn brought Tyrhys Dolan on to offer a different dimension, and the youngster is coming close to delivering for the home side.

He got down the Forest left and crossed for Sam Gallagher, but the sub could only steer his effort straight at Brice Samba.

  7. Postpublished at 21:15 Greenwich Mean Time 9 February 2022

    Bournemouth 2-1 Birmingham

What a save by Mark Travers!

Lukas Jutkiewicz powered into the box to meet a Juninho Bacuna cross from the right for Birmingham, but his side-footed effort is turned over by the Bournemouth keeper.

    Real wobble time.

  8. Postpublished at 21:13 Greenwich Mean Time 9 February 2022

    Sheffield United 1-0 West Brom

Great work from Baggies keeper Sam Johnstone who produces a fine double save to deny Jayden Bogle and George Baldock.

The 10 men of West Brom are hanging in there and carrying the occasional threat on the break as Adam Reach forces Wes Foderingham into a save.

  9. goal

GOAL: Bournemouth 2-1 Birminghampublished at 21:12 Greenwich Mean Time 9 February 2022

    Onel Hernandez (69 mins)

Yep. Birmingham get a route back into the game on the back of Jefferson Lerma's sending off.

Onel Hernandez collected the ball on the edge of the Bournemouth box, tries to bend one into the far corner, and Nat Phillips can only divert it past a wrong footed Mark Travers.

Blues in it again, and Bournemouth might just be feeling a bit nervy now.

Kieron Fallows: In past seasons I used to love listening or watching Birmingham play midweek football and get a good result, but that seems like a long time ago with this season.

This may cheer you up Kieron...

  11. Bottle thrown from standpublished at 21:12 Greenwich Mean Time 9 February 2022

    Blackburn 0-1 Nott'm Forest

Referee Josh Smith has just had a word with both sides, after Forest goalkeeper Brice Samba appeared to be struck by a bottle thrown from the crowd.

Ben Brereton Diaz is trying to play peacemaker, Samba is livid, Joe Worrall is trying to calm things too.

  12. RED CARDpublished at 21:11 Greenwich Mean Time 9 February 2022

    Bournemouth 2-0 Birmingham

Bournemouth's Jefferson Lerma has been sent-off for a wild chop on Onel Hernandez.

There was plenty of pushing and shoving after.

    All a bit testy.

  13. Postpublished at 21:10 Greenwich Mean Time 9 February 2022

    Preston 0-0 Huddersfield

It's starting to open up a bit at last.

A win would be a huge boost to either of these promotion-chasers.

  14. Postpublished at 21:07 Greenwich Mean Time 9 February 2022

    Blackburn 0-1 Nott'm Forest

Keinan Davis is tormenting Blackburn tonight for Forest, but cannot put the ball in the net despite his rampaging runs.

Forest then needed Scott McKenna at his best to deny Rovers sub Sam Gallagher.

  15. Cardiff's best performance of season?published at 21:06 Greenwich Mean Time 9 February 2022

    Cardiff 3-0 Peterborough

    Dafydd Pritchard
BBC Sport Wales at Cardiff City Stadium

Cody Drameh has just provided Jordan Hugill with one of the assists of the season.

Drameh, the right wing-back on loan from Leeds, sets off on a run in his own half, bursts past Peterborough's hapless defenders and crosses brilliantly for Hugill to volley in at the near post.

As poor as Peterborough might be, this has arguably been Cardiff's best performance of the season.

  16. goal

GOAL: QPR 2-2 Middlesbroughpublished at 21:05 Greenwich Mean Time 9 February 2022

    Albert Adomah own goal (60)

It's an own goal from the unfortunate Albert Adomah but this goal owes much to the work of Isaiah Jones.

He puts in a lovely nutmeg to get into the box and fires a dangerous ball across the six yard box where Adomah, facing his own goal, turns it into his own net.

I predicted this one wouldn't stay 2-1 and I'll raise you that it won't stay 2-2!

  17. Postpublished at 21:04 Greenwich Mean Time 9 February 2022

    Preston 0-0 Huddersfield

Cameron Archer is a young striker full of promise and has made an instant impact since joining Preston on loan from Aston Villa.

He sees a snapshot saved by Lee Nicholls as this remains goalless as we approach the hour.

Preston are in 13th but are only four points outside the play-off places where their opponents are pitched-up in fifth after a great run of form.

  18. goal

GOAL: Cardiff 3-0 Peterboroughpublished at 21:02 Greenwich Mean Time 9 February 2022

    Jordan Hugill (57 mins)

Jordan Hugill hammers a cross from Cody Drameh past Steven Benda, and it's surely three points for the Bluebirds now.

The big forward is on loan from Norwich, and making an impact now.

  19. Postpublished at 21:02 Greenwich Mean Time 9 February 2022

    Bournemouth 2-0 Birmingham

Bournemouth have had a bit of defending to do here, as Birmingham win a series of set-pieces.

However, Mark Travers hasn't had too much duress to cope with, other than that header he saved before.

  20. HITS THE WOODWORKpublished at 21:00 Greenwich Mean Time 9 February 2022

    QPR 2-1 Middlesbrough

This game is far from over despite QPR going back in front.

Boro's Andraz Sporar's sweetly-struck volley cannons back off the crossbar and away to safety much to David Marshall's relief.

I wouldn't bet this is going to remain 2-1.
