  1. Postpublished at 20:59 Greenwich Mean Time 9 February 2022

    Blackburn 0-1 Nott'm Forest

That red card for Darragh Lenihan followed a yellow for John Buckley after he hauled down Keinan Davis.

In the Forest box, Ben Brereton Diaz went down under a challenge, but no penalty given.

Sam Gallagher is on, John Buckley withdrawn for Rovers.

  2. RED CARDpublished at 20:57 Greenwich Mean Time 9 February 2022

    Blackburn 0-1 Nott'm Forest

Darragh Lenihan is off for Blackburn, having caught Jack Colback late.

    It's a second bookable offence.

  3. Postpublished at 20:56 Greenwich Mean Time 9 February 2022

    Birmingham 2-0 Bournemouth

Birmingham very close to a goal, as Mark Travers somehow guides a Gary Gardner header away from the line.

That's what Lee Bowyer would have been wanting from his side, to be competitive.

  4. goal

GOAL: Bristol City 2-0 Readingpublished at 20:52 Greenwich Mean Time 9 February 2022

Michael Morrison own goal (47 mins)

Cruel. Michael Morrison turns into his own net and Reading really have it all to do.

Cameron Pring charged down the left flank after play was switched and put his cross into the mix, and Morrison's touch diverted it past Karl Jacob Hein.

  5. Postpublished at 20:52 Greenwich Mean Time 9 February 2022

    Bournemouth 2-0 Birmingham

Crucial foot in by Teden Mengi ensures Dominic Solanke's progress is halted, as the Cherries striker hits the accelerator down the right.

Bournemouth pumped up and on it.

  6. goal

GOAL: QPR 2-1 Middlesbroughpublished at 20:51 Greenwich Mean Time 9 February 2022

    Chris Willock (46 mins)

That didn't take long - 15 seconds in fact.

Chris Willock has put QPR back in front while the fans are still taking their seats for the second half and it's an absolute stinker for Boro keeper Joe Lumley.

Boro take the kick-off and work it back to Lumley who is far too casual and his weak pass goes straight to Willock, who is left with the simple task of slotting into the net.

They conceded in first half injury time and go back ahead mere seconds into the second half.

  7. Postpublished at 20:50 Greenwich Mean Time 9 February 2022

    Sheffield United 1-0 West Brom

Back under way in Sheffield and there's one change for West Brom as Jayson Molumby replaces Grady Diangana.

    Let's have it.

Peter Bavin: Forest as it stands enter the play-off places, just think about that for a moment, when 7 games in, bottom of table with 1 point. Wow.

It's been an incredible turnaround since Steve Cooper took charge in September.

  10. HALF-TIMEpublished at 20:36 Greenwich Mean Time 9 February 2022

    Sheffield United 1-0 West Brom

A first half that couldn't have gone much worse for Steve Bruce and West Brom.

Billy Sharp gave the Blades the lead before Jake Livermore was sent off for the Baggies.

  11. HALF-TIMEpublished at 20:35 Greenwich Mean Time 9 February 2022

    QPR 1-1 Middlesbrough

Dael Fry's equaliser on the stroke of half-time for Boro cancelled out Ilias Chair's opener for the hosts.

  12. HALF-TIMEpublished at 20:35 Greenwich Mean Time 9 February 2022

    Preston 0-0 Huddersfield

Goalless and a game of few clearcut chances at Deepdale.

  13. goal

GOAL: QPR 1-1 Middlesbroughpublished at 20:34 Greenwich Mean Time 9 February 2022

    Dael Fry (45 + 2 mins)

Boro get back on level terms just before the break!

Dael Fry lashes a left-footed effort past David Marshall to equalise in injury time at the end of the first period.

It was a powerfully-hit shot and it was going to take something special to beat Marshall, who has made a string of eye-catching saves.

    Sickener for the hosts.

  14. HALF-TIMEpublished at 20:34 Greenwich Mean Time 9 February 2022

    Cardiff 2-0 Peterborough

So far, so good for Cardiff. Joe Ralls and Aden Flint have given them a half-time lead against a Posh side who showed promising signs at points.

However, the second goal seemed to really knock some stuffing out of the visitors. Not a happy 50th birthday for Darren Ferguson.

  15. HALF-TIMEpublished at 20:34 Greenwich Mean Time 9 February 2022

    Bristol City 1-0 Reading

Bristol City hit the dressing rooms with an advantage over Reading after a rare moment of quality at the back end of the half.

Antoine Semenyo got the goal, and on this evidence, it will take something special to break through the hum-drum and add to it.

  16. HALF-TIMEpublished at 20:33 Greenwich Mean Time 9 February 2022

    Blackburn 0-1 Nott'm Forest

    James GarnerImage source, Rex Features

Forest lead at the break thanks to a goal from James Garner, and they have possibly just shaded it.

Blackburn came close to a goal from Ben Brereton Diaz but Steve Cook made a timely block just before the break.

    Still plenty in this though.

  17. HALF-TIMEpublished at 20:33 Greenwich Mean Time 9 February 2022

    Bournemouth 2-0 Birmingham

Bournemouth have bounced back from their horror show against Boreham Wood with a convincing display against Birmingham.

Ryan Christie and Dominic Solanke goals have been the difference, and Blues boss Lee Bowyer will have stern words for a side that has struggled to impose themselves.

  18. Postpublished at 20:32 Greenwich Mean Time 9 February 2022

    Preston 0-0 Huddersfield

    It stays goalless - just.

Ched Evans has gone close again after good work from Aston Villa loanee Cameron Archer and Daniel Johnson, but Lee Nicholls is there to make the save.

  19. goal

GOAL: Bristol City 1-0 Readingpublished at 20:30 Greenwich Mean Time 9 February 2022

    Antoine Semenyo (45 mins)

Finally something worth mentioning at Ashton Gate, and it's a first goal for Bristol City.

Joe Williams slid Andi Weimann in with a fine through-ball, and when the Austrian's route to goal was blocked, he swivelled to put the ball on a plate for Antoine Semenyo.

    Cool as you like.

  20. RED CARD Jake Livermore (West Brom)published at 20:29 Greenwich Mean Time 9 February 2022

    Sheffield United 1-0 West Brom

The hill West Brom are having to climb has just got an awful lot steeper.

They're down to 10 men as midfielder Jake Livermore sees red for a challenge on Conor Hourihane.

    Penny for Steve Bruce's thoughts?
