Not for the first time this season, Swansea are looking vulnerable when in possession in their own defensive third.

Their brave approach is admirable and looks great when it comes off, but too often Swansea have given the ball away deep in their own territory.

They are a little fortunate that Bristol City have not yet made them pay.

Swansea City debutant Finley Burns makes a crucial sliding tackle to thwart another Bristol attack.

He appears to have injured his shoulder in the process of making the tackle, and the medical staff are on.

Thankfully he's back on his feet to applause from the home crowd.

Straight down the other end and the in-form Antoine Semenyo steals the ball from the Swans defence once more.

He shimmies his way into the area but his eventual shot is easy to deal with for Andy Fisher.

Swansea cannot afford to keep losing possession in their own third though.

Ben Cabango turns a Swansea City corner towards goal but again the Bristol City defence clear the danger.

Swansea have not scored from a set piece all season. This would be an opportune time to change that record.

Jamie Paterson tries to do just that moments later, but his free-kick is deflected behind for a corner.

Swansea City are playing with fire at times, as again they lose possession in their own half.

This time Andreas Weimann latches on to yet another under-hit back pass, the ball ricochets off him to Cameron Pring, but the wing-back can't gather the ball in time to get a shot off.

Instead he plays it back to Weimann but the Robins captain is offside and Swansea escape.

This time it's the travelling Bristol fans appealing for a penalty as Jay Dasilva goes down under pressure from Hannes Wolf, but there was little to no contact and Keith Stroud tells him to get back to his feet.

Chris Martin flashes another chance moments later just wide of the post.

Swansea City once again appeal for a penalty as Matt Grimes takes a tumble in the area.

The ball breaks to Michael Obafemi who wins another corner for the hosts.

Michael Obafemi's run there reminded me a bit of Michael Owen's goal for England against Argentina at the World Cup in 1998.

Swansea need to get him involved more because he's got pace to burn.

Swansea lose possession in their own half and Andreas Weimann is quickest to the ball. He plays in Antoine Semenyo who lays it off for Chris Martin, but his shot is tipped over the bar by Andy Fisher.

Obafemi is not hanging about, as soon as he gets to the ball he drives to the heart of the Bristol City penalty area.

Michael Obafemi looks the most likely player to make a difference at this stage, he beats Han-Noah Massengo with ease but his eventual shot is blocked by Zak Vyner and Bristol clear.

Another Bristol City corner isn't dealt with by Andy Fisher, but the Swansea goalkeeper is spared his blushes as the ball doesn't quite drop in time for Chris Martin, who would have had a tap in.
