Neither team have got full control of this game. It could go either way. These are exactly the type of moments that show this cup competition is so important for England - how do we do against adversity when the other team is on top? How do we solve these problems and get ourselves back into the flow of the game?

Canada have lost Jayde Riviere to injury. She's being helped off the pitch. This has been a fully committed battle between two entertaining teams.

There have been a couple of changes. Georgia Stanway is on for England while Canada have sent on Quinn. Lots of activity on the England bench. Looks like there are going to be more changes.

England have been on the ropes a little in this second half. Lauren Hemp has still been a huge threat but Canada are getting in behind with ease now.

This game is on a knife-edge. I always said the Arnold Clark Cup was a thrill-a-minute competition.

This is a big test now for the Lionesses. How will they respond? Quite well, actually. Lauren Hemp forces a fine save with a powerful attempt from inside the box.

That was a stunning strike from Janine Beckie. It's also the first goal England have conceded since Sarina Wiegman took over.

No doubt about it. The Olympic champions have made a decent start to the half. A good opportunity for Chelsea's Jessie Fleming but she puts it wide.

Kadeisha Buchanan is immense. At times it feels like she is holding England at bay all by herself. Another block from the Canadian defender as Alessia Russo looks to pounce on the edge of the box.

By the way, we've had our first yellow card of the match. The referee is unhappy with a challenge by Ashley Lawrence and out comes the notebook.
