The left-back turned goalkeeper Chaker Alhadhur is again alert to danger as he gets off his line to beat Moumi Ngamaleu to a ball forward. It wasn't the best pass but Alhadhur did what he needed to do.

There's four minutes added on at the end of the first half.

Cameroon have had 57% possession so they are dominating but not as much as they perhaps would have hoped. They've still only managed a single shot on target.

More good defending by Comoros as Moumi Ngamaleu's cross from the right is stabbed behind by Younn Zahary with Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting primed to fire in from close range.

If Comoros get to half time at just 1-0 down then it has been a very impressive performance given the circumstances.

I've seen some sides with 11 players and an actual goalkeeper in goal perform much worse than this.

Almost a great response by Comoros as they force Andre Onana into two decent saves in quick succession!

First, Onana keeps out a strong effort from Ahmed Mogni before then getting up quickly to deny Mohamed Youssouf with his foot.

I am not sure if these are cheers of celebration or pure relief from the Cameroon fans – certainly a lot of noise here!

The longer this goes on, the more you feel Cameroon are going to start feeling frustrated. They've got the tournament top scorer in their side but have shown almost no threat in attack.

Chaker Alhadhur comes charging off his line to nod away a ball into the box. That will do his confidence some good for sure. He hasn't had any shots to deal with really but what he has had to do, he has done well enough.

Karl Toko Ekambi makes a good run through the middle, the ball doesn't get through to him but falls kindly to Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting, who shoots but his effort has the sting taken out by a deflection and Chaker Alhadhur gets to control with his feet.

We've hit the 20 minute mark and while it has all been Cameroon, understandably, they have not managed a shot on target yet.

Chaker Alhadhur is a bit fortunate at the moment that Cameroon's shooting has so far been a bit wayward as Karl Toko Ekambi charges down the left, cuts inside and then fires wide.

Relief for Chaker Alhadhur as the free kick doesn't trouble him.

Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting breaks forward but gets caught by an outstretched boot and Cameroon have a free kick.

This could be the first big test of Chaker Alhadhur...

It is tough for Comoros as there is no outlet. Any time they do get the ball there are no options in the Cameroon half and the hosts soon win back possession.
