  10. 'No quick fix at Leeds'published at 12:20 Greenwich Mean Time 5 March 2022

    Leicester v Leeds (12:30 GMT)

    Mark Lawrenson
    BBC football expert

Leicester's late win at Burnley in midweek will have lifted the whole squad for several reasons - it was their first league victory and clean sheet of 2022, plus Jamie Vardy was back fit for the first time this year and scored too.

All of that means this is a tricky start for new Leeds boss Jesse Marsch.

I'd expect a determined performance from his side and they might make themselves more difficult to beat, but I don't see it being a quick fix, especially while Kalvin Phillips and Patrick Bamford remain injured.

    Lawro's prediction: 2-0

    Jonathan Woodgate
Former Leeds defender on BBC Radio 5 Live

You can see Leeds in the warm-up trying to win the ball back as quickly as possible, but they won't be man-to-man [marking] and that is what players prefer.

It will be interesting to see today how Jesse Marsch sets them up.

  14. China Premier League coverage pulledpublished at 12:13 Greenwich Mean Time 5 March 2022

    Dan Roan
    BBC Sports editor

Chinese rights holders have told the Premier League they will not broadcast English top-flight matches this weekend because of the league's planned shows of support for Ukraine, the BBC has learnt.

China is a close political ally of Russia, which has invaded Ukraine.

The Premier League has said it "wholeheartedly rejects Russia's actions" and is set to show solidarity with Ukraine.

That will include captains wearing special armbands in Ukrainian colours, while stadium screens will display 'Football Stands Together' in front of the country's blue and yellow flag.

Fans have also been encouraged to join "a moment of reflection and solidarity before kick-off at each game".

Ben: Same as many, Bielsa is going to be greatly missed. He's helped us rise from the ashes, and given us fans something we've missed for the past 16 years - hope. Gutted to see him go, but it was the correct decision. Marsch looks to be a solid fit and I think, providing he can keep us up, he's going to be the right man to take us to the next level.

The Leeds fans welcome their players over to warm up in front of the away end with a big round of applause. There's a lot of intrigue about what will change about this side under Jesse Marsch. The Whites supporters have been so used to seeing things done the Marcelo Bielsa way.

Will Marsch go 4-2-2-2? 4-2-3-1? Or carry on with his predecessor's 4-1-4-1? The role of Rodrigo is one to keep an eye on. Bielsa saw him predominantly as a number 10, preferring Dan James up top in the last months of his tenure. Will the Spanish international be asked to play a more traditional number nine role here?

    Leicester v Leeds (12:30 GMT)

    Wes Morgan
Captain of Leicester's title winning team, speaking to 5 Live

Leicester have not played to the best of their ability this season. The position they are in the league reflects that. I feel sorry for Brendan Rodgers. He has had to cope with injuries to some key players and that has definitely not helped.

But performances haven't been what we would expect. They are still in mid-table with games in hand so things can still turn around.
