Tottenham look dangerous each time they break. Son Heung-min is just too quick for West Ham's defence as he latches on to a sweet pass inside the box and unleashes a shot which hits the post.

West Ham respond almost immediately though Michail Antonio who drills it across the face of goal. It should have been 1-1 after Antonio gets behind the Spurs defence.

This match has well and truly come alive.

Kurt Zouma goes long and tries to find Michail Antonio who is standing on the edge of the box but he is quickly dealt with by two Spurs defenders. Antonio scored the winner when the sides met at London Stadium in the Premier League earlier this season.

A scrappy start by both teams who are yet to settle. Lots of mis-placed passes. There's a great wall of noise inside the ground.

Several weeks on, Kurt Zouma is still greeted with boos each time he touches the ball. His first touch is less than convincing. He passes it straight to a white shirt.

West Ham get the game started and pass it around well until Tottenham win possession and Harry Kane tries to pick out Son Heung-min on the edge of the box.

Right, are you ready for this? There's a terrific atmosphere inside the ground as the teams emerge from the tunnel. Neither side can afford to drop points in the race for fourth. This should be a cracker.

I remember when Harry Kane trained with us when we were at Spurs and he was a young kid coming through. I didn’t see him having this kind of career.

It just shows at 18/19 that you’re not the finished article. Look at Harry Kane now, he’s still banging in the goals. He’s slightly adjusted how he plays the game, drops deeper, links it up.

But it’s incredible to be beating the likes of Alan Shearer for the most away goals - it's phenomenal. Will he beat his record? He’s got every chance of being the all-time top scorer in the Premier League. It will be some achievement if that happens.

Brentford

Brentford boss Thomas Frank to BBC Sport: “We were the better team in the second half and on a day when it dropped for us we could have got a point.

"We played Leicester two times and three of their goals were top corner, worldies. We need a little bit of margins not to go their way. Leicester were the better side in the first half. We weren’t aggressive or brave enough to push forward.”

On what he said to Leicester keeper Kasper Schmeichel afterwards: “I just said what are you doing, don’t be that good.”

On their fightback: “I didn’t expect anything else from this group of players. They have a fantastic mentality. They work so hard. That’s why we’re still in all the games. In so many games we don’t get anything easy. We play well enough to score more.

“We need to keep going and take that second-half performance forwards."

On Leicester's goals: “I knew Maddison could do it – and Tielemans earlier this season. Maybe not Castagne but fair play to him.”

On Christian Eriksen not being available after Covid: “Not quite right. You need two negative tests and a medical test. Hopefully he can travel with the national team.”

Tottenham boss Antonio Conte to Sky Sports: "Every game is important for us, especially today against a strong opponent. We know very well West Ham are having a good season. In the table we in the same place.

"They deserved to play the Europa League last season and got a good win in Europe [this week]. We have to play a good game.

"The performances were always good in every game but when you lose you are disappointed. But we played well."

West Ham United

West Ham have won their last two Premier League games against Spurs, though both wins have been at home. They’re looking to do the league double against them for the first time since 2013-14, while they last won three consecutive league games against Tottenham in August 1999.

Tottenham are still very up and down in terms of results but I don't think they played too badly in defeat against Manchester United last weekend, and they were decent in their win over Brighton on Wednesday.

Like Leicester, West Ham were also in European action on Thursday and I think their tie with Sevilla will have taken a lot out of them. That's why I'm going with a Spurs win.

Lawro's prediction: 2-1

Tottenham Hotspur

Tottenham have lost five of their seven Premier League London derby matches this season (W2), last losing more in a single campaign back in 2004-05 (7). Spurs have earned fewer points than any other side in Premier League London derbies this season (6).
