Tottenham 2-0 Brighton
All the noise is coming from Brighton's fans at the moment. It's been a really encouraging start to the half by the Seagulls but they need a goal.

Neal Maupay is trying to do what Harry Kane is doing for Tottenham, he's coming short and trying to link the play. If I was Maupay tonight, I'd get myself in the 18 yard box, let the build up play go on around me and wait for a few chances.

Big save by Hugo Lloris!
Yves Bissouma ploughs forward and gets his shot away. It takes a big deflection which forces Lloris to push it away.
Brighton have come flying out of the blocks.

That's better. Jakub Moder produces a huge amount of swerve outside the box and it only just clears the bar. Brighton are a lot more lively in the opening exchanges of the new half.

I can only imagine Lallana is injured. He's played well in the first half. I thought he'd have tried to get Danny Welbeck on at half time, give him 45 minutes and try to add a little bit of firepower.
Tottenham 2-0 Brighton
It cannot be long before Danny Welbeck is sent on.

Adam Lallana has been sacrificed as Graham Potter changes the shape of his team. Joel Veltman has come on and gone over to the right and Tariq Lamptey has pushed forward.

Back under way - and Brighton have made a change.
Good play from Spurs but Winks, Davies and Sanchez are still our main weakness and Brighton will take advantage of that. Romero and Son have been brilliant!!

Jonathan: Yes Spurs have been good so far tonight, but let’s not get over-excited. This is the same team who were beaten by Chelsea three times in three weeks in January.

"A freak goals," says a smiling Robbie Keane on ITV4 about his former club's second goal. They are having a debate whether it was an own goal or not. Emerson Royal will certainly try and claim it.

Five shots. Four on target. Two goals. Spurs are ruthless. Brighton are shading possession and have completed more accurate passes - 264-232 - than the hosts but have managed just one shot on target.
Tottenham 2-0 Brighton
A terrific Saturday night for Spurs as it stands. Brighton have work to do.
Tottenham 2-0 Brighton
Brighton save their best for the last moments of the first half. Jakub Moder does well to create space for himself before going close. Much more encouraging for the second-best visitors.

Arsenal are out. Manchester United have gone. Could this be Tottenham's year in the FA Cup?

Great to see Romero back, Conte knows how to get the best out of him, much more solid now I hope!

Will Graham Potter change the system at half-time? Make a change at the start of the second-half? The Brighton boss needs to do something. Spurs are coasting.

It is like he owns the place, Harry Kane, he is so aware of what's going on around him.
Tottenham 2-0 Brighton
Better from Brighton as Neal Maupay turns and shoots but it's blocked. Spurs react through Harry Kane who tests Robert Sanchez who is down to save.
Tottenham 2-0 Brighton
Brighton are trying to get back into this and Solly March has an attempt but it's not enough to trouble Hugo Lloris. They have been too slow in their build-up play compared to Spurs.
