    Michael Obafemi (44 mins)

    Swansea celebrateImage source, Rex Features

I said they'd been knocking and Swansea have finally broken through Peterborough's resolve.

Jamie Paterson fizzes the ball into Michael Obafemi in the Posh box. The striker lets the ball run and looks to have taken it too far but allows it to go round David Cornell in the Peterborough goal and slots into the net.

And Swansea are taking a well-earned lead into half-time as the referee blows up.

    Blackpool 0-0 Sheff Utd

Josh Bowler smacks the crossbar for Blackpool and CJ Hamilton can't turn in the rebound.

Some hit from the edge of the box.

  3. goal

GOAL: Luton 3-0 Prestonpublished at 20:28 Greenwich Mean Time 16 March 2022

    Luke Berry (42 mins)

I've seen players as varied as Nigel Clough, Thierry Henry and Gianfranco Zola score goals like this, a cute backheel at the near post, and we can add Luke Berry to the illustrious list.

Berry got to a Harry Cornick cross, and despite a scruffy connection, managed to guide it past a stricken Daniel Iversen.

    Andre Gray (40 mins)

What a goal for QPR and it comes against the run of play completely.

Having soaked up the shots from Forest, a wonderful counter sees the Rs go in front.

Ilias Chair was the creator, jinking dangerously before slipping a great pass in between the lines for Andre Gray, who lashed coolly through the legs of Ethan Horvath.

  5. goal

GOAL: Cardiff 1-1 Stokepublished at 20:25 Greenwich Mean Time 16 March 2022

    Tommy Doyle (39 mins)

    Cardiff scoreImage source, Getty Images

Cardiff are level and it's Tommy Doyle with his second goal for the club.

The home side work the ball well down the left-hand side and the Manchester City loanee latches on to a perfectly-weighted through ball before slotting the ball into the far corner.

It's a very nice goal and the Bluebirds are deservedly level in this match.

    Peterborough 0-0 Swansea

Swansea are having all the play here and really should be ahead.

Michael Obafemi and Jamie Paterson failed to take early chances for the visitors, with David Cornell saving both in the Peterborough goal.

The Swans then put together another lovely passing move before cutting the ball back to Obafemi, who blazes over.

    Nott'm Forest 0-0 QPR

QPR are being squeezed by Forest now with raid after raid on their penalty area, but credit to the blue and white hoops, they've not been breached.

Andre Dozzell upended Djed Spence but Forest were given the advantage and Brennan Johnson whipped in a cross which sailed across the box.

The return ball in was teasing, but Forest just couldn't get a telling connection.

Dozzell wasn't booked for the last tackle, but got a yellow shortly after. He's been putting himself about, let's say.

  8. goal

GOAL: Coventry 0-2 Hullpublished at 20:15 Greenwich Mean Time 16 March 2022

    Ryan Longman (28 mins)

    Hull celebrateImage source, Rex Features

Belting hit from Ryan Longman to give Hull a two-goal cushion at the CBS Arena.

Richie Smallwood swung in a corner which was only cleared as far as the edge of the box, and there was Longman to take a touch and thump one in off the bar.

He'll enjoy watching that on his phone on the long bus ride home.

  9. goal

GOAL: Luton 2-0 Prestonpublished at 20:15 Greenwich Mean Time 16 March 2022

    Fred Onyedinma (28 mins)

Luton get a second and stamp their authority.

Another great delivery from James Bree and Fred Onyedinma and Peter Kioso both darted in to have a crack at the backpost.

Both celebrated, both peeled away. It looks like Fred's been credited with it.

    In control.

    Nott'm Forest 0-0 QPR

Forest starting to get the ball into the feet of Brennan Johnson and Djed Spence on the right and stretching the QPR defence.

However, the final ball just hasn't been good enough yet.

  11. goal

GOAL: Millwall 1-0 Huddersfieldpublished at 20:13 Greenwich Mean Time 16 March 2022

    Benik Afobe (27 mins)

Benik Afobe celebratesImage source, PA Media

Well there are two impressive unbeaten streaks at stake here and it's Huddersfield's that has come under threat!

The home side were slow to start but are well worth their lead, displaying some wonderful link-up play.

Jonathan Hogg loses the ball in midfield for Huddersfield and Benik Afobe works the ball out to Mason Bennett on the left-hand side.

His shot is blocked and the ball comes back to Afobe on the edge of the area, who takes a touch before expertly shooting into the net to give the Lions the lead and score his seventh Championship goal of the season.

  12. CLOSE!published at 20:12 Greenwich Mean Time 16 March 2022

    Luton 1-0 Preston

Big save from James Shea on his 100th Luton appearance, as Preston forward Cameron Archer took advantage of space left by injury to Reece Burke and skipped in off the left.

The low shot was well-saved by Shea, who got out and narrowed the angle perfectly.

    Coventry 0-1 Hull

Gustavo Hamer has certainly been warming up his 'blammer' tonight, letting off pot-shots for Coventry but hasn't quite forced a notable save yet out of Matt Ingram.

Hull's big threat has come from Keane Lewis-Potter. Highly rated winger with no little class.

  14. goal

    Lewis Baker (23 mins)

Stoke take the lead through Lewis Baker with his third goal in three games.

The former Chelsea midfielder gets the ball and unleashes a fierce shot from 25 yards out which goes in past the diving Alex Smithies.

  15. GREAT SAVE!published at 20:08 Greenwich Mean Time 16 March 2022

    Nott'm Forest 0-0 QPR

    Forest chanceImage source, Getty Images

Big save from David Marshall for QPR, as Ryan Yates gets to a hook into the mix from Philip Zinckernagel but his point-blank header is beaten away.

Forest can't believe it. QPR were dozy at the back to allow the run.

Yates then goes close as he tries to get a foot to a sizzling ball across the area, but his touch veers wide and Rangers clear.

    Blackpool 0-0 Sheff Utd

Sander Berge scuffs the ball into the net, but before the Sheffield United players can kickstart the celebrations, the referee's assistant brings them to a shuddering halt.

    Offside.

It was a scrappy old effort.

    Millwall 0-0 Huddersfield

Millwall v HuddersfieldImage source, PA Media

Millwall manage to carve through the Huddersfield defence as Murray Wallace plays in Benik Afobe.

Town keeper Lee Nicholls rushes out to meet him and the striker goes for the lob over the top but can't enough height on it, and Nicholls makes the save.

Mason Bennett then receives a yellow card for tripping Lewis O'Brien.

    Nott'm Forest 0-0 QPR

It's a really miserable night by the Trent, and the rain is puddling up around the surface at the City Ground.

Forest boss Steve Cooper was stood on the edge of his technical area but you could see the rain slatting down on the growing puddle just to his right.

It's not affecting the game, but these aren't nice conditions.

  19. Postpublished at 20:03 Greenwich Mean Time 16 March 2022

    Coventry 0-1 Hull

The form book suggested this might be a game Coventry could dominate, but Hull have been the side with more adventure so far.

Big Tom Eaves got his nut on a Richie Smallwood cross, but Simon Moore was untroubled.

  20. Postpublished at 20:02 Greenwich Mean Time 16 March 2022

    Peterborough 0-0 Swansea

Not a huge amount to report from Peterborough as these two teams feel their way into the game.

Ricky-Jade Jones has looked sharp for the Posh, with a couple of dazzling runs down the left-hand side to get the home supporters on their feet but no real chances of note for either side yet. The night is young!
