More from Antonio Conte: ""We are working a lot, we are working hard, I think we are doing everything to try to improve but it’s not enough, very frustrating. First time in my life, four defeats in five. Maybe I am not so good.
"Tottenham called me to improve but I’m honest and I can’t close my eyes. I want to finish my season. I hate to lose, we lost four in last five games,
"This is unacceptable. I won't accept it. I want to try to move the situation. Maybe we have to take more attention and we can finish when I arrive here in same position."

Liverpool
Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp: "In the end it went pretty smoothly. It was really hard work because they make it hard work. It is tricky playing against a man marking side, you feel pressure where no pressure is.
"We had to be fully concentrated and we were and in the end it is a wonderful night. There might be some people out there who think penalties you should not count them but you want the right person on the spot to put them away and that is what Mo did.
"Sadio Mane's game was probably one of his best in the way he interpreted his role. Absolutely insane.
"In the end top game, top for the people. In a really good shape and a wonderful night at Anfield.
"Leeds had good spells but I think it is really difficult to play the way they did for 90 minutes against a team like us.
"I am not excited, it is normal after a night like this people get carried away and that is fine but Sunday is looming and we have to be ready for this.
"We have 10 days no league game and City probably playing in that time. It is how it is and we have to win our football games and if we do that we will be around and if we don't do that we won't."
FT: Burnley 1-0 Tottenham
Tottenham Hotspur
Tottenham boss Antonio Conte: "In the last five games we’ve lost four. This is reality. Not the performance. We lost four of the last five, nobody deserves this situation, this is the reality. I came in to try to improve the situation but maybe in this moment, I don’t know. I’m not so good to improve it. It is very frustrating. Working hard, working a lot and trying to get out the best of players. Too honest to close my eyes.
"On Saturday we play another game, it’s the moment to see the situation and make an assessment, really frustrated, not used to seeing these situations. I’m trying to do everything but the situation is not changing.
"In the last five games, we are playing like we are in relegation this is the reality, maybe there is something wrong, I want to take responsibility, if I have that, I’m open for every decision, I want to help Tottenham from first day I arrive. Also to take my salary. It is not right at this moment."
FT: Burnley 1-0 Tottenham
Burnley
Burnley manager Sean Dyche: "Difficult all season talking about fine margins. Not been far away all season. We are beginning to get the details right.
"People are ready to play and taking on the challenge. Never overthought the table. Not because I am naïve. I believe in the players. When we are right we can compete with everyone. Statistically we are strong during the second-half of the season.
"I know what we do and how we do it. I have great trust in our players. After the Leeds game, we agreed it wasn’t us.
2Our focus is on us. That won’t change. Every season is a tough season for us. Nine points out of six games, including four against the top four. Could we back up the display from Brighton. I was very pleased with that."
FT: Watford 1-4 Crystal Palace
Watford
Watford boss Roy Hodgson, speaking to Match of the Day: "We were punished harshly for having ability to block the crosses and shots from the edge of the box, for large parts it was fairly even, the problem was when the ball arrived they took their chances and scored goals.
"The last two we can't complain about, but we didn't do enough to block the shot or cross - it was a comfortable win for Crystal Palace without them having to outplay us.
"Wilf (Zaha) is a very good player and is playing very well this year, it bodes well for them in the games that come because with the form he is in they can look forward to more victories.
"We had two good spells, quite a good spell during the second half as well, moving the ball quicker and playing through midfield, but we weren't able to make good enough chances and
"It is a harsh defeat in terms of the scorleine, to win by 4-1 was harsh on the Watford players today and the effort they put in.
"When you get a very good away win, everyone expects you to come out and win because that is what the dreams are made of, unfortunately it doesn't always work that way. That is something we have to accept and musn't allow it to affect what we do in future matches."
And no, Liverpool and Leeds have not changed managers after full time for the eagle eyed among you. 👀

Liverpool
Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp, speaking to MOTD: "It can happen. If you are really on it and go through all the difficult spells in the game that we did but you think about the start. We had three days to prepare it and tell the boys how big the difference is between Leeds and the other teams.
"It can happen, but I didn't expect it. It is really difficult to defend man marking against us for 90 minutes. You cannot defend Mo Salah in all challenges of a game. That is the problem Leeds has and that is why the result is the result.
"We have 10 days until we play the next league game and we have two games in-between in completely different competitions, one is a final and the other I don't even know, a quarter-final or a last 16 and they will be different games and we have to be ready for them as well."
On title race: "It is three points until the weekend and then City will probably win and then it will be six points. If we win all our games pretty much there will be a chance for us..
"I think for people outside it is better to have three or six point gap than to have a 20 or 30-point gap so it is more exciting but we have to win a lot of the games against all the difficult opponents and that will be a tricky task. We will give it a try."
FT: Watford 1-4 Crystal Palace
Crystal Palace
Crystal Palace boss Patrick Vieira, speaking to Match of the Day: "It was a big win, an important win, but it is about the performance and that allowed us to win the game. I am really pleased with the discpline and work ethic we showed.
"That is a massive differenc from the last couple of games, we had chances where we didn't score those goals - today we created chances and scored goals, but overall it is the team performance, for me the work he (Wilfried Zaha) did out of possession was massively important.
"We performed well as a team out of possession and that allowed us to create those chances and score goals.
"It was the discipline, the concentration from the players, we didn't allow them to express themselves and that gave us momentum, belief, and we stuck to the game plan. It was overall quite good.
"The win is important because that gives us confidence for the rest of the season, but the performance is key, because in the last couple of games we were missing those goals - if we play well, we have more chance of winning games."
FT: Watford 1-4 Crystal Palace
Watford
Watford captain Moussa Sissoko: "After that good victory we wanted to keep the momentum, at home it is always difficult - I don't know why? Maybe it is more pressure.
"We need to carry on, there is another game on Saturday, of course tonight is difficult for everyone but tomorrow we go back to work and need to be ready for the next one."
FT: Watford 1-4 Crystal Palace
Crystal Palace
Crystal Palace's Wilfried Zaha: "We need to be clinical, we are making chances and not scoring and I feel like this is really deserved - good performances, week in, week out, so today feels good.
"They have given me a tough time but that is football, I scored two goals, we got the three points and that is all that matters to me.
"The team we have allows me to do what I need to do up front, if I get the through balls, balls over the top.
"Everyone know what Conor (Gallagher) is about - if I am competing with people like that I have to step up as well. With the team we have, top half of the table is where we should be looking."
FT: Liverpool 6-0 Leeds
Leeds United
Leeds boss Marcelo Biesla, speaking to MOTD: "My reaction is disappointment given the result we have obtained.
"It has been difficult for us to adapt to the opponents and it has been difficult for us to get the ball to our forwards with clarity.
"We need to defend better and attack better - both things. We will fight to defend our position."
FT: Liverpool 6-0 Leeds
Leeds United
Leeds' Adam Forshaw: "Two different teams in class.
"It is difficult coming to a place like this but we are missing big players, we have missed them through the season. Tonight feels like the end of the world but we are still in an OK position, we can't feel sorry for ourselves.
"It is hard not to let it affect you, I won't lie but the positives were the fans, they make you proud and that is what we can take from tonight, they are always there for us."
FT: Liverpool 6-0 Leeds
Leeds United
Leeds boss Marcelo Biesla: "The distances between the two teams we were never able to reduce them. In the second half we thought it would be difficult to play an even game but we wanted to prevent or avoid what ended up happening.
"A result like today you can't explain it with the absences.
"We are fighting relegation. Of course it worries me, how is it not going to?"
FT: Liverpool 6-0 Leeds
Oh and the only two unbeaten teams in England's top four tiers in 2022 remain unbeaten with wins for both Liverpool and Huddersfield tonight.
When confidence is high, those teams take some stopping.
FT: Liverpool 6-0 Leeds
Liverpool
Liverpool's Joel Matip: "It was great, we scored a few goals.
"I had tried it before but I was lucky this time to have the chance to score and it was a brilliant ball from Mo Salah.
"Leeds are always dangerous, they always have chances with the quality they have and the style they play but we did it."
Let's take this to the thumbs then, who is winning this title race?
Thumbs up for Manchester City, thumbs down for Liverpool.
