  1. 'Spurs have world-class manager'published at 19:43 Greenwich Mean Time 1 March 2022

    Middlesbrough v Tottenham (19:55 GMT)

    Jonathan Woodgate
Former England defender on BBC One

Spurs have two world-class players in Kane and Son, when Eric Dier plays in the middle of a back three he is good. What they have got is a world-class manager who has won titles in England and Italy.

    Peterborough 0-0 Man City

City are finding it difficult to create chances against a well organised Peterborough side and are yet to work goalkeeper Steven Benda into a save.

    Efan Ekoku
Former Nigeria striker on BBC Red Button

Stoke are more composed on the ball so far. They're quite sensibly not playing a high line with the pace of Palace's front line.

I like Antonio Conte a lot - his passion, personality, will to win, he wants to pass that on to this whole football club, and that was part of the outburst after Burnley.

If you listen to it, he also questioned himself and put himself into the mix, which is what I liked - previous managers have questioned players individually, but without doubt he is also sending a message to the chairman that he wants to be backed up to win things.

  5. Postpublished at 19:40 Greenwich Mean Time 1 March 2022

    Crystal Palace 0-0 Stoke

First chance to Palace. Michael Olise blasts in a shot from distance which hits Jean-Philippe Mateta and is saved by Jack Bonham. Mateta is offside anyway so it wouldn't have counted.

Stoke got a bit boring and dull under Tony Pulis. They wanted a more attacking style. I'm not sure they found it, playing in a lower division.

  7. 'We are in a good moment of form'published at 19:37 Greenwich Mean Time 1 March 2022

    Middlesbrough v Tottenham (19:55 GMT)

    Tottenham Hotspur

Tottenham boss Antonio Conte on BBC One: "We are in a good moment of form despite the defeat against Burnley, but we are in a good performance - to win against Manchester City and Leeds has to give us the right confidence. Tonight is another competition, an important competition and important trophy.

"We are ready to play a good game. For every team it has the same importance, it is a trophy and the difficulty in this moment to win a trophy in England, there are maybe the best teams in the world, and to lift the trophy you have to beat them.

"We have to become a stable team and for this reason have to face every game in the same way to try to get three points, get the best result. We don't play alone, there is the opponent who has the same idea."

  8. 'Conte wants to win now'published at 19:37 Greenwich Mean Time 1 March 2022

    Middlesbrough v Tottenham (19:55 GMT)

    Jermain Defoe
Former England striker on BBC One

It has been inconsistent. You go to Man City and win like they did and it kick starts your season, and then go to Burnley and lose. The manager was really emotional afterwards. You get someone like Antonio Conte, he wants to win now.

  9. Postpublished at 19:37 Greenwich Mean Time 1 March 2022

    Peterborough 0-0 Man City

Kwame Poku is flagged offside as he looks to break clear.

We're back to old school rules at Peterborough as there is no VAR in operation.

But in the same competition, there is technology at Selhurst Park as it is a Premier League ground.

    Make it make sense please.

  10. Postpublished at 19:35 Greenwich Mean Time 1 March 2022

    Crystal Palace 0-0 Stoke

Stoke's Josh Tymon whips in a cross which Jack Butland catches. Palace go forwards and win a corner as Jean-Philippe Mateta's cross is blocked.

From the corner Mateta heads wide.

The Riverside will be jam-packed, it is going to be a difficult game for Spurs, Middlesbrough are doing well at home, seven on the bounce.

  12. Postpublished at 19:34 Greenwich Mean Time 1 March 2022

    Crystal Palace 0-0 Stoke

Good atmosphere at Selhurst Park so far. A "proper" FA Cup game.

  13. Postpublished at 19:32 Greenwich Mean Time 1 March 2022

    Crystal Palace 0-0 Stoke

Couple of early shaky moments at the back for Stoke but they escape. The Potters have not won in their past four Championship games.

  14. YELLOW CARDpublished at 19:32 Greenwich Mean Time 1 March 2022

    Peterborough 0-0 Man City

City defender Nathan Ake is having an uncomfortable evening and is the first man into the book as Ricky-Jade Jones nicks the ball away and is wiped out by the defender.

  20. CLOSE!published at 19:25 Greenwich Mean Time 1 March 2022

    Peterborough 0-0 Man City

But it's Peterborough who almost take the lead!

Jeandro Fuchs gets the better of Nathan Ake from a ball over the top, holding off the Dutchman and firing a low drive towards the near post which is pushed away by Ederson.
