As routine a half as Liverpool could have hoped for and a scoreline that will no doubt please the thousands or so cold Reds fans hoping to avoid the late night extra time would bring.

For Norwich fans it is looking like another miserable game against Liverpool but the travelling fans are taking it in good spirit and were indulging in a bit of a singalong to "Tequila" by The Champs just before the half time whistle.

    HT: Liverpool 2-0 Norwich

The last act of the half was Przemyslaw Placheta flying over the advertising board following a challenge with Konstantinos Tsimikas. The medical staff are quickly down there but thankfully he looks OK. At one point he was just a couple boots dangling in the air.

Milot Rashica fires a shot just wide at the end of the half, but it has been all too easy for Liverpool.

They are cruising into the quarter-finals unless Norwich can stage something remarkable here.

Look how delighted Romelu Lukaku is with that goal. It means a lot to him. That is what happens when you put the ball in key areas of the pitch. It is about getting in where it hurts and Lukaku does it perfectly.
