QPR respond again to that setback.

This time they graze the outside of the post.

Ilias Chair's corner drifts straight on to it at the near post and then Sam McCallum volleys an ambitious shot from outside the penalty area wide right.

    Jonson Clarke-Harris

    Well, well!!!

Just like that from one end to the other, what could've easily have been 2-0 suddenly becomes 1-1.

Peterborough equalise through Jonson Clarke-Harris as he lashes home a rebound from inside the penalty area after Keiren Westwood had got down to parry away a low shot from Jack Marriott.

Posh delighted to be back in this one seemingly out of nowhere.

    QPR 1-0 Peterborough United

QPR's turn to his the bar this time!

Andre Gray looked destined to make it 2-0 with a header from the six-yard box after Ilias Chair lifted a cross in from the right.

He jumped ahead of Josh Knight and sent the header towards the top-left corner, but back off the crossbar it comes with David Cornell nowhere near it.

Is it only us that are amused by David Webb refereeing a game involving a team for whom the other David Webb made more than 100 appearances...?

    QPR 1-0 Peterborough United

Again another half-chance for Peterborough with some rare time on the ball.

Sammie Szmodics who's come closest to scoring for them so far just miscues an attempt at a ball across the danger area as it goes harmlessly out for a goal kick.

Game has quietened down a touch as we move closer to half-time.

Peterborough struggling to string some key passes together to worry QPR and instead have had to look long on more than one occasion.

QPR weather that period of pressure and nearly double their lead on the counter.

Ilias Chair flashes a right-foot shot just past the left post after Andre Gray had made an initial foray into the Peterborough area but saw his shot blocked.

The hosts still looking dangerous coming forward.

    QPR 1-0 Peterborough United

Bali Mumba again has a go on his own driving into the QPR area this time cutting off the left.

He goes to ground under attention from Dion Sanderson but there's nothing there to interest referee David Webb.

    QPR 1-0 Peterborough United

Bali Mumba working hard for Peterborough down their left trying to force his side back into it.

Wins an attacking throw deep into the hosts' half but they can't keep possession to build a chance from it.

No win in 15 Championship matches for Peterborough coming into this one.

But ironically, their last victory in any competition came against QPR in the FA Cup fourth round in February.

They also beat them in the reverse league fixture back in October, one of only seven victories all season!

Inches away from a sensational equaliser.

Peterborough enjoy a rare spell of decent build up around the QPR box before the ball comes back out to Sammie Szmodics to strike on his left with a half-volley.

It skims the top of the crossbar and bounces behind much to Keiren Westwood's relief this time.

    QPR 1-0 Peterborough United

So nearly another case of QPR catching Peterborough out on their halfway line.

They dispossess the visitors once more and try and break through the middle, Ilias Chair slots it ahead of Andre Gray to run on to but the striker has too much time, if anything, and makes a real hash of an attempt on the half-volley that goes tamely wide.

    QPR 1-0 Peterborough United

    All QPR at the moment.

Ilias Chair on the ball again for the hosts and he nearly lifts a cross from the left into the danger area and over David Cornell's head.

Behind it goes for a goal kick.

    QPR 1-0 Peterborough United

So close to being 2-0 to QPR in almost identical fashion.

Ilias Chair has a go from outside the box on his right foot but this time drags it just wide of the left post much to Peterborough's relief.

Big task ahead for Peterborough now to try and get themselves back into this match.

A win for QPR, remember, lifts them back into the play-off places.

    Luke Amos

The hosts ahead with their first real attack of note and you probably won't see defences part as wide as this all season.

Jack Taylor gives the ball away easily in his own half for Peterborough and Luke Amos is given the time and space to run up the middle with it to the edge of the penalty area before picking a spot in the bottom right corner with a shot past David Cornell.

    Posh concede yet again.

    QPR 0-0 Peterborough United

QPR almost make a break through Albert Adomah after Peterborough give the ball away on halfway.

But Adomah's ball back across goal takes a deflection and David Cornell can scoop that up with few alarms in the Posh goal.

  19. Postpublished at 6 mins

    QPR 0-0 Peterborough United

Bit more time on the ball for QPR but Peterborough are going to try and press them high up it seems.

Jack Marriott penalised for a foul on Rob Dickie just inside the QPR half.

  20. Postpublished at 2 mins

    QPR 0-0 Peterborough United

Early pressure from the visitors as they find some space down the QPR right and see an inital low cross just cleared.

QPR then don't fully clear their lines and the ball breaks for Jack Marriott to take an early shot from just outside the box, but that's a routine first save for Keiren Westwood ina QPR shirt.
